ObjectiveTo observe and compare the clinical effect of hyperplasia of mammary glands with the type of liver-qi stagnation and phlegm stagnation by using two different methods with Fu's Subcutaneous Needling(FSN)and traditional acupuncture in order to explore the more effective treatments for hyperplasia of mammary glands.Methods60 patients were randomly divided into treatment group in which 30 cases accepted FSN treatment and control group in which 29 cases received acupuncture treatment.Both of the groups would receive 2 months of treatment period in which patients were treated twice a week and stopped treatment during menstrual period.Record the scores of the symptom integral,breast pain,breast mass and size,and the accompanied by symptoms of both groups before and after treatment finished.The curative efficacy was evaluated by comparing the two groups before and after treatment,especially comparing the difference of the effect between the FSN and acupuncture.Resultscomparing the effectiveness of treatment group and control group,both groups can improve the integral of symptom,breast pain,breast mass hardness and accompanied by symptom(P<0.05).The scores of all the symptoms and breast pain of both groups had significant difference after the treatment(P <0.05).There was no significant difference between the hardness of breast and accompanied by symptoms such emotions,expansion and so on(P>0.05).ConclusionBoth of the Fu's Subcutaneous Needling and the acupuncture are paly a positive role in improving the clinical symptoms of Liver-qi stagnation and Phlegm stagnation of Mammary Gland Hyperplasia patients.The effectiveness rate of treatment group is better than the control group,especially in reducing the pain of the breast.There was no significant difference between the mass hardness,the range and the size of breast.
