Clinical Efficacy Observation Of "Mind-regulating Acupuncture" On Chronic Tension-type Headache(CTTH)

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of mind—regulating acupuncture on CTTH,to investigate the feasibility of mind—regulating acupuncture on CTTH,to further clarify the effectiveness of mind — regulating acupuncture on CTTH.Mind—regulating acupuncture has the advantages of acupuncture point streamlined,simple operation,significant effect,non-toxic side effects and many other advantages.The research aims to seeks and provides a more simple and effective method for clinical treatment of CTTH.Methods:In strict accordance with the inclusion criteria,60 patients with CTTH were selected from Neurology Department and Acupuncture and Moxibustio Department in University City Branch of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.According to the random number method,they were randomly divided into treatment group(mind—regulating acupuncture)and control group(Conventional acupuncture),each group of 30 cases.The treatment group were treated with mind — regulating acupuncture,with acupoints:Sishenzhen,Zhisanzhen,Yintang,Shenmen,Sanyinjiao,patients with anxiety and depression can be added Taichong,Hegu,with insomnia can be added Shenmai,Zhaohai.All points received conventional supplement and diarrhea.A group points of Sishenzhen were connected electro-acupuncture apparatus,a group of Shenting and Yintang were connected electro-acupuncture apparatus,with the frequency of density waves,the stimulus gradually strengthened by the weak,the patient is appropriate and be needled for 30 minutes.The control group were treated with conventional acupuncture,with acupoints: Baihui,Fengchi,both sides of JingJiaji,Touwei,Taiyang,Shenmen,Zusanli,Taichong.All points received conventional supplement and diarrhea.Both sides of jingjiaji were connected electro-acupuncture apparatus,with the frequency of density waves,the stimulus gradually strengthened by the weak,the patientis appropriate and be needled for 30 minutes.Both groups were treated five times every week,2 weeks as a courses,a total of two courses.After 4 weeks,the clinical curative effect of CTTH in both groups was evaluated by Headache comprehensive score,Self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and Self-rating depression scale(SDS).Results:1.Headache comprehensive score(headache frequency,degree,duration,concomitant symptoms),SAS score and SDS score before and after treatment were compared between the two groups(P<0.05).2.In the treatment group,5 cases were recovered,12 cases were markedly effective,11 cases were improved,2 cases were Invalid.3 cases were recovered,6 cases were markedly effective,15 cases were improved,6 cases were Invalid by the control group.The rank sum test results p <0.05,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33%,which of the control group was 80.00%,and there was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:The results showed that the two groups of headache frequency,degree,duration,concomitant symptoms,anxiety and depression have been significantly improved.And the treatment group improved more significantly.It is concluded that the clinical efficacy of Mind — regulating acupuncture on CTTH is superior to conventional acupuncture,and it is worth promoting.
