Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Perimenopausal Syndrome By Shallow Needling

Objective:This study used randomized controlled design,it compared the clinical effects of treating perimenopausal syndrome?PMS?by two methods:shallow needling method and taking Livial orally.To explore the clinical advantage of treating PMS by using shallow needling method,as it provided more scientific clinical basis for the treatment of PMS.Methods:A total of 60 patients with PMS who according with the inclusion criteria were collected from the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of tradition Chinese medicine and the acupuncture clinic of Guangxi Zhuang medicine hospital.They were randomly divided into treatment group?shallow needling group?and control group?Western medicine group?,30 patients in each group.The treatment group was treated with shallow needling method and moxibustion.The main points of shallow needling method were Guan yuan,uterus?double?,Zusanli?double?,Ground machine?double?,Neiguan?double?.Moxibustion for acupoints:Baihui and Yongquan?double?.3 times a week,every other day at a time,continuous treatment for 4 weeks.The control group was treated with oral Livial,and the whole tablet was not chewed,a tablet?2.5 mg?was given once a day for 4weeks.To evaluate clinical efficacy of treatment by observing TCM syndrome score,improved Kupperman score,serum E₂,FSH,and LH values before and after treatment.And the statistics and analysis of data was processed by SPSS21.0.Results:1.There was no significant statistical difference?P>0.05?in the age,course of disease,degree of disease,TCM symptom score,improved Kupperman score,serum E₂,FSH and LH values between the two groups before treatment,which indicated that the two groups were comparable.2.According to the Improved Kupperman score after treatment,it obtained the overall medical effect of two therapies,2 cases were cured,18 cases were markedly effective,9 cases were effective and 1 case was ineffective,the total effective rate was 96.67%.In the control group,0 cases were cured,4 cases were cured,18 cases were effective and 8 cases were ineffective,the total effective rate was 73.33%.The total medical effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group?P<0.05?.3.The improved Kupperman scores of the two groups were compared after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant?P<0.01?.Meanwhile,the improved Kupperman scores of the treatment group and the control group were analyzed and compared respectively before and after treatment,and the differences were statistically significant all of them?P<0.01?,which indicated that both of the treatment group and the control group could obviously improve the related symptoms,but the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the related symptoms.4.The TCM symptoms score of the two groups were compared after treatment,and compared the curative effects of the two groups on TCM symptoms.At the same time,the TCM symptoms scores of the treatment group and the control group were analyzed and compared respectively before and after treatment,and the differences were statistically significant.The results showed that both of the treatment group and the control group had significant effects on improving TCM symptoms?P<0.01?,and the curative effect of the treatment group on improving TCM symptoms was significantly better than the control group?P<0.01?.5.The values of serum E2,FSH,LH levels of the treatment group and the control group were compared and analyzed before and after treatment,and the differences were statistically significant?P<0.01?.The two groups had a benign regulating effect on the values of serum E₂,FSH,LH levels after treatment.The values of serum E₂,FSH,LH levels of the tow groups were compared after treatment.There was no obvious difference of effect between two groups?P>0.05?,which indicated that the two groups had the same effect in regulating the values of serum E₂,FSH,LH levels.Conclusions:Shallow needling and oral western medicine Livial are effective for PMS,however the shallow needing therapy is superior to western medicine treatment in improving clinical symptoms.The safety of shallow needling therapy is higher,therefore it should be worthy of popularization and application in clinical.
