ObjectiveTo analysis the curative effect of Shallow Needling at acupoint and the curative effect of conventional acupuncture on primary dysmenorrhea (type of qi stagnation and blood stasis), compared the curative effect between the two kind of treatment, to explore the best therapeutic regimen in the treatment of this disease.MethodsThis research was mainly based on the clinical observation, a randomized control method. The study was sited mainly in Taiwan Qing’an Chinese medicine clinic. Simple random method using packet, all in accordance with the observation conditions of the patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group. According to the ratio of1:1, each group had35cases in this research. The two groups were treated with the same points. The treatment group was treated by acupuncture of shallow needling method for treatment, and the control group was given conventional acupuncture treatment. All patients began receiving the treatment seven to ten days before the premenstrual, one times a day, till the menstrual clean so far. One menstrual cycle for one course of treatment, continuous treatment of three courses, and then were followed up in three months. Before treatment, the end of each course of treatment and after treatment for three consecutive menstrual cycles, the index of the efficacy of two groups of patients (including dysmenorrhea symptom assessment scale, the MPQ pain scale, qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome score and WHO WHOQOL-BREF) were analyzed and compared two different methods of acupuncture, to observe the therapeutic effect of and differences. Collecting data, and then the data was statistical analysied by the SPSS17.0.Results1. After theatment, both the Shallow Needling at acupoint and the conventional acupuncture had significant effect on primary dymenorrhea(type of qi stagnation and blood stasis). The control group in the total efficiency was88.57%;14cases were cured (40%);9cases (25.71%) were significantly effective;8cases had effecty(22.86%); and4cases were invalid (11.43%). The total effective rate in the treatment group was94.29%;18cases were cured (51.43%),12cases were significantly effective (34.29%);3cases had effecty (8.57%);2cases were invalid (5.71%). The clinical efficacy of treatment plan of two groups are obvious, and the treatment group was significantly better than the control group, on the total effective rate and cure rate. The shallow needling at acupoint and the conventional acupuncture therapy could effectively treat dysmenorrhea, but the comprehensive effect of the shallow needling at acupoint was more obvious.2. The shallow needling at acupoint and the conventional acupuncture had the obvious clinical curative effect in improving the symptoms of dysmenorrhea, dysmenorrhea degree and TCM syndrome. But in the response speed, the conventional acupuncture was superior to that of the shallow needing at acupoint. The shallow needing at acupoint should be accumulated to a certain amount of treatment, and then it would quickly appear obvious curative effect.3. After three months of the treatment, both the two groups of patients had no significant difference in the dysmenorrhea symptom score, the MPQ score, and the TCM syndrome score (type of qi stagnation and blood stasis). The disease was not repeated. Two types of therapy has curative effect obviously.4. The two types of therapy could effectively improve the quality of life of patients, but the improving effect of the shallow needling at acupoint was more obvious. During the treatment, the shallow needling at acupoint produced pain and fear smaller. It was more easily accepted by the patients, and its acupuncture manipulation requirement was low, and it was easy to master and operate, and was worth to popularize. ConelusionThe shallow needling at acupoint and the conventional acupuncture therapy can effectively treat the disease of primary dysmenorrhea, and the recurrence rate is low. The shallow needling at acupoint is superior in the total effective rate, the cure rate and acceptance, than that of the conventional acupuncture. The shallow needling at acupoint is easy to master and operate, and is worthy of promotion.
