A Self-control Study On The Treatment Of Psoriasis Vulgaris With Modified BaiBi Ointment

Objective:Through the self-control study,compare the clinical efficacy and safety of modified Baibi ointment and Baibi ointment in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris.The differences in comfort,cohesion,therapeutic effect and overall quality of the two ointments were compared by the patient's subjective evaluation.Methods:1.The preparation process of Baibi ointment was improved,that is,the active ingredient extracted,fried by the sesame oil,was added to the appropriate proportion of Vaseline,made of modified Baibi ointment.2.This study was designed using self-controlled experiments.32 cases of hospitalized patients with psoriasis vulgaris were treated with external modified Baibi ointment and Baibi ointment on each limbs,2 times a day.During treatment,Each person oral Chinese medicine and intravenous infusion.3.Before treatment,2 weeks and 4 weeks after treatment,the patient's skin lesions(Lesion area,erythema,scaly,infiltration)were scored.The degree of remission of pruritus was evaluated using the skin itching VAS score.At the end of treatment,investigating the subjective feelings of patients with two kinds of ointments to help evaluate the comprehensive quality of the modified Baibi ointment.Results:1.This study included 32 cases of psoriasis vulgaris,the actual completion of 30 cases.After treatment,the total score of skin lesions in both groups decreased significantly(P<0.001),and the modified Baibi ointment group decreased more significant than that of the control group(P<0.05).2.After treatment,the erythema,scales and infiltration scores of the two groups were significantly decreased(P<0.001),and the erythema score of the modifiedBaibi ointment group was more obvious than that of control group(P<0.001),while the infiltration score of the control group decreased more significantly(P<0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment,the decline of scaly score of the modified Baibi ointment group was more significant than that of the Baibi ointment group(P<0.05).3.After treatment,the scores of lesion area and pruritus were significantly decreased in both groups(P<0.05),however,there was no significant difference between the modified Baibi ointment group and the control group(P> 0.05).4.Patient satisfaction survey showed that modified Baibi ointment was superior to the control group in terms of extensibility,comfort and overall quality,and was statistically significant(P< 0.05).Conclusion:1.The modified Baibi ointmen can effectively relieve the skin lesions of psoriasis vulgaris,and the early efficacy is better than Baibi ointment.In the relief of erythema lesions,the effect of the modified Baibi ointment is better than Baibi ointment;and Baibi ointment can ease the degree of infiltration of skin lesions more easily.2.the modified Baibi ointment was significantly better than Baibi ointment In the area of coating,comfort and overall quality.3.In the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris lesions,the modified Baibi ointment has certainly advantage than Baibi ointment,that is worth promoting.
