| Objective:Through the study about clinical effect of medicated bath therapy used Shaoyao Gancao Decoction in the treatment of chronic eczema(blood deficiency and dryness),to evaluate the therapeutic effect and safety,and explore the mechanism of action of this method.Methods:A total of 82 randomized eczema subjects were randomly divided into study group(n = 41)and control group(n = 41).Two groups of subjects were orally administrated by Dangguiyinzi Decotion(free fried particles),wiped Yufu ointment outside of skin to treat the skin lesions.The study group were treated with modified Shaoyao Gancao Decoction,the control group were treated with Kushen Decoction.The therapy was treated once every other day,each lasting 20 minutes,and the subjects were treated for 4 weeks,and they would be followed for 2 months.Before treatment,after treatment,follow-up,subjects were recorded EASI,DLQI,itching VAS score,disease score and other indicators and adverse reactions.SPSS 19.0 analysis data were used to compare the difference between the two groups.Results:1)In the two group,there were significant differences in the scores of each index of each group before and after treatment(p <0.01).There was no significant difference in the scores of each index between the two groups before and after treatment(p> 0.05).Two groups of treatment on patients with itching symptoms,skin lesions and quality of life have improved the role,however,there was no significant difference between the two groups.But the study group in improving the patient's skin lesions of the erythema is better than the control group(p <0.01).2)The total effective rate was 76.9%,total significant efficacy was 48.7% in the study group.The total effective rate 71.1%,total significant efficacy was 26.3% in the control group.no significant difference in the total effect rate between the two groups there was(p> 0.05).But in the total significant efficacy,the treatment group was better than the control group.3)Compared with the healthy control group,the serum total IgE level of chronic eczema patients was higher than that of the healthy control group(p <0.05).4)Subjects' DLQI was not associated with gender,age,course of disease(p> 0.05),but positively correlated with itching VAS score(r = 0.681,p <0.05),and weakly correlated with EASI score(r = 0.273,p <0.05).It was a significant positive correlation between the improvement of quality of life before and after treatment and the difference of VAS score(r = 0.730,p <0.05),and the difference between EASI scores showed a moderate positive correlation(r = 0.486,p <0.05).Conclusions: 1)Clinical efficacy of Shaoyao Gancao Decotion was quite with Kushen Decotion in medicated bath treatment of chronic eczema(blood deficiency and wind-dryness),and their safty were good.The treatment group was better than the control group in the total significant efficacy.In the improvement of erythema lesions,modified Shaoyao Gancao Decotion is better than m Kushen Decotion.2)The level of total serum IgE in patients with chronic eczema was higher than that in normal subjects,suggesting that elevated total IgE may be associated with the incidence of chronic eczema.3)The DLQI of patients with chronic eczema was not significantly correlated with gender,age and course of disease,which was positively correlated with clinical symptoms and severity of skin lesions... |
