Localization And Application Research Of Emotional And Socical Dysfunction Scale In Stroke Patients

ObjectiveThe purpose of this study is to chinesize and revise the English version of the Emotional and Social Dysfunction Scale(ESDQ),it can be used as a tool for stroke patients to assess emotional and social dysfunction in Chinese mainland.This scale was used as a survey tool to investigate the status quo of stroke patients' emotional and social dysfunction and to explore its influencing factors,which can provide a reference for medical staff to take interventions using influencing factors as breakthroughs and to improve the emotional and social dysfunction of stroke patients.Methods1.The revision of the initial scale: Through the translation,cultural adjustment and pre-investigation of the English version of Emotional and Social Dysfunction Scale.Finally,the dimensions and items included in the initial Chinese version of ESDQ were formed.2.The revision of the formal scale: Use the preliminary revision of the Chinese version of stroke patients' emotional and social dysfunction scale as a survey tool,and make a survey of 369 stroke patients from 5 hospitals in Hengyang using the cross-sectional questionnaire.Apply SPSS21.0 and Amos21.0 to analyzing final data through coefficient of variation method,critical ratio method,analysis of cronbach's ? coefficient,pearson correlation coefficient and confirmatory factor analysis and exploratory factor analysis,so as to evaluate reliability,validity,identification of items and feasibility.3.Clinical investigation: Use the formal revision of the Chinese version of stroke patients' emotional and social dysfunction scale as the research tool to investigate the status quo of stroke patients' emotional and social dysfunction and to explore its influencing factors.Results1.After two rounds of Delphi expert consultation method,Chinese version scale of 6 dimensions and 27 items finally formed,which Included Anger(3 items),Emotional Dyscontrol(5 items),Helplessness(3 items),Inertia and Fatigue(6 items),Indifference(5 items)and Euphoric(5 items).2.Reliability analysis of the scale:(1)Reliability:(1)The cronbach's ? coefficient of the total scale was 0.934.The cronbach's alpha coefficient of each dimension was 0.872 to 0.974;(2)The Guttman partition coefficient of the total scale was 0.817,The Guttman partition coefficient of each dimension was 0.677 to 0.892.(2)Validity:(1)Content validity: the content validity index(s-cvi)of the scale was 0.930.the content validity index(i-cvi)of the item was 0.82 to 1.00.(2)Structural validity: The cumulative contribution rate of 6 male factors extracted by exploratory factor analysis was 80.190%.The correlation coefficient between factors was 0.210 to 0.750(p<0.01).The correlation coefficient between the factor and the scale was 0.629 to 0.750(p<0.01).Results of confirmatory factor analysis: X~2/df=2.178,RMSEA=0.078,NFI=0.923,RFI=0.908,IFI=0.957,CFI=0.957 and TLI=0.948.According to the criteria of model fitness test was X2/df ?3,RMSEA?0.08,NFI,RFI,IFI,CFI and TLI>0.900.It shows that the data fit well.(3)Criterion-related validity: Using the HADS as the validity criterion,the result showed that the pearson correlation coefficient between the HADS and the total scale was 0.607(P<0.01)and the scores of different dimensions was 0.340 to 0.480(P<0.01).3.The formal scale was used to investigate stroke patients.The results showed that emotional and social dysfunction was 75.10 ± 13.44,which was relatively medium.There was a slight negative correlation between emotional and social dysfunction and perceived social support in stroke patients.The result revealed that Bi index,working condition,age and the perceived social support were influencing factors of emotional and social dysfunction.These four factors could explain 39.0% of the total variation independently.Conclusions1.The Chinese version scale of emotional and social dysfunction of stroke patients was developed by Chinese-language and cross-cultural debugging procedures.It has good item discrimination,reliability,validity and feasibility.It was suitable for the study of emotional and social dysfunction of stroke patients in Chinese mainland.2.The level of emotional and social dysfunction of stroke patients was relatively medium.And the perceived social support,Bi index,working condition and age were influencing factors of emotional and social dysfunction of stroke patients.
