Objective: To investigate the level of serum uric acid in healthy elderly who conduct a physical examination in Dalian and its influencing factors.Methods: The clinical data of 66,321 people who conduct a physical examination(including 38,692 youths,21474 middle age and 6155 seniors)in a hospital in Dalian from January 2010 to October 2015 were collected and analyzed.The measurement of height,weight,blood pressure and medical history were recorded.The content of venous blood samples test were recorded as UA,Cr,Hb,TC,HDL-C,Triglyceride(TG),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)and body mass index(BMI).The above clinical data were retrospectively analyzed.The decision tree and multiple linear regression models were established to explore serum uric acid Level and analyze the factors that influence the fluctuation of serum uric acid level.Results:1.General information: The final sample size was 66,321 cases,of which 352,959 were male,accounting for 53.2% of the total sample size,31,026 female samples,accounting for 46.8% of the total sample size.The overall sample size ranged from 18 to 89 with an average age of 42.58 ± 12.03 years old.According to research,the sample is divided into three groups: young,middle-aged and elderly.Of which 6155 elderly,accounting for 9.3% of the total sample.2.The average blood uric acid in healthy elderly population with healthy physical examination in the Second Hospital of Dalian Medical University was(328.82 ± 78.35)umol / L.3.The average level of uric acid in elderly men was 357.12 ± 75.68 umol / L,the average uric acid level in elderly women was 289.11 ± 63.38 umol / L,And the level of the male is higher than the female,the difference is statistically significant.4.The decision tree model based on CART suggests that the order of the important factors affecting uric acid level in the elderly are creatinine,triglyceride,body mass index,hemoglobin and high density lipoprotein cholesterol.5.Multiple linear regression model suggests that the order of the important factors affecting the uric acid level of the elderly is creatinine,hemoglobin,body mass index,triglyceride and high density lipoprotein cholesterol.The level of serum uric acid was positively correlated with creatinine,hemoglobin,body mass index and triglyceride(P=0.000),while the level of serum HDL was negatively correlated with uric acid(P = 0.000).Conclusions:1.The level of serum uric acid in the elderly population was higher than that of young people,and the level of serum uric acid in male was significantly higher than that in female.The differences were statistically significant.2.Through data mining techniques,we establish corresponding multivariate linear models and decision tree models,both of the two models suggest that creatinine,triglyceride,BMI,hemoglobin,HDL-C are relevant risk factors which affect the elderly population uric acid levels,and creatinine has become the most important factor that affecting the level of uric acid in the elderly.
