Clinical Observation On 58 Cases Of Knee Joint Swelling After Knee Arthroscopy Treated By

Purpose: Clinical observation of treatment with blood-activating and detumescence decoction in 58 cases of joint swelling after knee arthroscopy.Methods: From January 2014 to December 2015,there were 58 patients with meniscus injury of knee joint who were treated by arthroscopic at the Department of Orthopaedics of affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of TraditionalChinese Medicine were selected, they were randomly divided into: control group :(29 cases), 9 males, 20 females, aged 29- 85 years old,average age was 47.3 years.Using local cooling treatment after operation;29 cases in the treatment group,4 males,25 females,aged 29-67 years old,with an average age of 51.9 years,they were performed both local cooling treatment and blood-activating and detumescence decoction. The knee flexion angle of the two groups of patients after 5 days and 7 days and the knee joint swelling degree in 1 days, 3 days, 5 days, 7 days were observed respectively.Results were analyzed by the correlative analysis of statistics.Results:1.There were no statistical significance in age,the knee joint swelling values and knee flexion angle in the first day after the operation between the two group.2.the treatment group after 1, 3, 5, 7 days of knee joint swelling values were(5.19±0.97)、(4.18±1.26)、(2.07±0.90)、(0.69±0.67). The control group after 1, 3, 5, 7 days of knee joint swelling value were(5.07±0.99)、(4.12±1.29)、(2.26±0.96)、(1.24±1.23), respectively.Comparison of the data, the difference was not statistically significant in two groups of patients after 3 days, 5 days, knee swelling value(P >0.05); the difference was statistically significant compared 7 days after treatment group two swelling value(P<0.05).3.The knee joint flexion angle of the treatment group was(35.49±3.15), 5 days, 7 days after the knee joint flexion angle were(92.9±10.03)(114.91±12.95). The preoperative flexion angle of the control group was(35.55±3.41). The knee joint flexion angle of the control group was(88.62±13.22),(105.91±14.86). There was no significant difference in knee flexion angle between the two groups after treatment for 5 days. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05) after treatment for 7 days.Conclusion:Application of Treated blood swelling after knee arthroscopy knee swelling has a good effect. And the use of traditional Chinese medicine is more economical, effective, patients more receptive. Give full play to the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine. Not confined to simple western medicine, combining Chinese and Western medicine, the health care system can promote a more comprehensive development.
