Objective:To review the results of different methods in the treatments of knee osteoarthritis(OA).Method: One hundred and seventy-nine cases of knee osteoarthritis were reviewed. A group was treated merely with unoperative way. B group only used the SH intraarticular injection, and C group was treated with traditional Chinese herbal drugs combing with arthroscopy on the homolatered knee. The data of pain degree and ability of movement in all cases were collected before and after treatment . The follow-up time was once a month in the post-operative(-treatment) period.Result: One hundred and sixteen patients were followed up for 9 to 37 months (averaged 13.3 months). The data was evaluated by comprehensive knee joint accessing scale. All the above treating methods did work in improving the patients' symptoms, however, the difference of effect between A and B is out of statistical significence. The C group has the most satisfied effect. Conclusion: It may be the most benefit methed, as the traditional Chinese herbal drugs combing with knee arthroscopy, to treat knee osteoarthritis...
