The objective of this study is to investigate the effects of Spanish Baiwei compound feed additives on the growth performance and nutrient digestibilities, serum biochemical indexes, fur quality and intestinal microbial quantity of raccoon dogs during fur development period, and to provide practical basis for antibiotic-free farming of fur animals.Completely randomized design with single factor was used in this experiment. In total 60 healthy 60±5 days old raccoon dogs with similar body weight were randomly divided into three groups,20 in each group. In group I(control group),75 mg 15% chlortetracycline and 5 mg 1% nosiheptide were added in per kilogram of basic diet.In group ?,75 mg 15% chlortetracycline and 5 mg 1% nosiheptide and500 mg Alquerfeed Antitox Plus,500 mg Alquermold Nature Powder and 500 mg Alquernat Nebsuiwere added in each kilogram of basic diet.In group ?,500 mg Alquerfeed Antitox Plus,500 mg Alquermold Nature Powder and 500 mg Alquernat Nebsui were added in per kilogram of basic diet. The results showed that: Compared with the group I,group ? and group ? had a trend of weight gain during the whole growth period. From the change of the average daily weight gain curve, the three groups showed basically the same trend. In the fur development period, the dry matter excretion of group ? and group ? were significantly lower than that of group I;the crude fat digestibility of group ? was significantly higher than that of group I.The urinary nitrogen in group I was significantly higher than that in group ? and group ?;the nitrogen deposition in group ? was significantly higher than in group I;the net protein utilization rate in group ? was significantly higher than that in group I.The serum biochemical indices determined in this experiment did not reach significant difference. The final body weight, body length, pelt length and pelt score of raccoon dogs in group ? were the highest, which were significantly higher than those in group I.The number of Lactobacillus in group ? was significantly higher than that in group I and thenumber of E.coli in group ? was significantly lower than that in group I.The results suggested that adding compound feed additives to the diet could improve the production performance and regulate the intestinal flora of raccoon dogs.
