In this study,AA~+broilers were used as experimental animals to explore the effects of compound Chinese herbal additives on the production performance and intestinal flora of AA~+broilers, and aimed to provide a scientific theoretical basis for compound Chinese herbal additives as the main substitute for antibiotics. In this experiment,1600 healthy 1-day-old AA+broilers were randomly selected.Using a single-factor design, they were randomly divided into two groups:the control group and the test group, with 5 replicates in each group and 160 each. The control group was fed with basic diet plus long rod special effect powder(used in accordance with the instructions),and the test group was fed with the basic diet plus 0.3%concentration of compound Chinese herbal additives. The pre-feeding period was 7days and the test period was 35 days.On the basis of this experiment, the promotion and application of 21,000 AA~+broilers were carried out.One-day-old healthy AA~+broilers were randomly divided into a control group and a test group(10500 each),and each group set up 5 replicate groups(2100 each replicate group),studied the effect of the Chinese herbal medicine additive on the production performance and economic benefits of AA~+broilers. The results of this test are as follows:1.Production performance:Compared with the control group, the final weight and average daily gain of the test group increased by 3.27%and 3.75%respectively(P>0.05),and the average daily material consumption decreased by 3.40%(P>0.05).The meat ratio decreased by 11.2%(P<0.05),and the survival rate increased by1.97%(P>0.05).2.Serum immune indexes:the serum Ig A,Ig G and Ig M contents of the test group increased by 93.3%,30.4%,26.1%(P<0.01),and the immune factors IFN-γand IL-2 contents increased by 80%and 111.8%(P<0.01).3.Serum hormone levels:The serum levels of GH,T3,and T4 in the test group increased by 24.26%,51.63%,47.42%,and they were all significantly different(P<0.01).4.Intestinal flora:At the phylum level, compared with the control group, the content of Firmicutes in the cecum of the experimental group was 0.96%lower than that in the control group(P>0.05),Bacteroidetes,Proteobacteria And Epsilonbacteraeota increased by 0.99%,42.9%,44.12%,respectively(P>0.05);at the genus level, the relative abundance of Faecalibacterium and Bacteroides in the experimental group increased by 65.48%(P<0.01)and 5.97%(P>0.05).The relative abundancesofButyricicoccus,Ruminococcaceae_UCG-005,and Lachnospiraceae_Unclassified were reduced by 39.10%(P<0.05),29.43%(P>0.05),11.53%(P>0.05),respectively.5.Economic benefits:The profit of AA~+broilers in the experimental group increased by 0.68 yuan per bird compared with the control group, and the economic benefits increased by 14.85%.In conclusion:1.The compound Chinese herbal medicine additive significantly increases the final weight and average daily gain of AA~+broilers, reduces the feed-to-meat ratio, increases the survival rate, and improves the production performance.2.Compound Chinese herbal medicine additives significantly increased the levels of Ig A,Ig G,Ig M and immune factors IL-2 and INF-γin the serum of AA~+broilers.3.The compound Chinese herbal medicine additive greatly increased the levels of GH,T3 and T4 in the serum of AA~+broilers.4.Compound Chinese herbal medicine additives can adjust the composition of the intestinal flora of AA~+broilers to a certain extent, and increase the diversity of intestinal microbes in AA~+broilers.5.Compound Chinese herbal medicine additives improve the economic benefits of AA~+broilers.
