To selected and compounded silage microbial additives which were suited to Ningxia area,to solve the problems occur during the natural fermentation of silage maize, such as nutrition loss and mouldy easily. In this study, the silage corn feed of natural fermentation which was isolated from mixed silage maize collected in multiple spots among central arid area of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. One Lactic acid bacteria and one Yeast which could promote the silage fermentation were selected by using the selective medium. The growth performance and acid production performance of the selected strains were determined. The selected strains were fermented into freeze-dried powder, which was compounded to form a compound microbial additives, and fermentation experiment of cellar silage was carried out for 45 days.On the day of opening the cellar, sensory evaluation, grading and sample collection were carried out to determine the change of nutritional components of silage. The control group silage and compound microbial inoculants group silage were used for 75 days fattening feed and 5 days digestion and metabolism test. The results show that:1.Lactic acid bacteria and Yeast were isolated from naturally fermented silage corn feed. They were identified as Lactobacillus plantarum and Saccharomyces cerevisiae by sequencing 16 SrRNA and ITS respectively.2.The silage com feed of compound bacterial agent group has special aromatic acid taste, similar color to the raw material, and the structure of stem and leaf is good. The overall score is 19 points, which belongs to grade 1.The results showed that the neutral detergent fibers(NDF)and acid detergent fibers(ADF)were decomposed by compound bacteria, dry matter(DM)and ether extract(EE)content increased significantly.Compared with the natural fermentation control without fungicide, the above three indexes all reached the significant difference level(P>0.05),but there was no significant difference between the degradation value of CP and the control(P>0.05).3.The ADFI of Tan sheep increased significantly(P<0.05),but the ADG and F/G did not change significantly(P>0.05).Tan sheep significantly increased the apparent digestibility of CP,EE and ADF of silage corn feed(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in the apparent digestibility of NDF(P>0.05).In summary, the compound microbial additives in this study can significantly degrade the neutral and acid washing fiber of corn feed, increase the content of crude fat,and delay the decomposition of crude protein in the feed.Feeding Tan sheep with silage corn feed fermented by compound bacteria can significantly increase the daily average intake of Tan sheep, improve the apparent digestibility of crude protein, crude fat and neutral washing fiber in feed, and further improve the growth performance of Tan sheep.
