With the rapid development of China's economy and the continuous expansion of international exchanges,China's railway station construction has entered a new period of development.“By 2020,China railways will operate on tracks totaling more than120,000 kilometers.At the same time,construction will begin on more than 1,000 new railway stations and 804 will be completed," the state said in its medium-and long-term railway network plan.As one of the implementation units of the plan,Shenyang Railway Bureau needs to build many railway stations within its jurisdiction,among which small and medium-sized stations account for more than 70% of the plan.Therefore,it has great significance to design and study of the small and medium-sized railway stations within the jurisdiction of Shenyang Railway Bureau.This paper consists of six chapters.The first chapter,as an introduction,describes the background,purpose and significance of this research,furthermore,the related concepts,division and the station type of railway station.By analyzing the development status of railway stations in China,the West and Japan,the valuable design and ideas for railway stations in China are extracted.Finally,the paper defines the small and medium-sized railway stations and divides the jurisdiction of Shenyang Railway Bureau.The second chapter mainly studies and explores the regional related theories,including the interpretation of regional related concepts,the elements of regionalism in architecture,and explores the regional expression of small and medium-sized railway station buildings in facade,plane and architectural technology.These basic theories and exploration provide a certain method for the regional design strategy of passenger station architecture in the paper.The third chapter analyzes the principle and necessity of centralized integration of station buildings through the current situation of scattered houses in small and medium-sized stations under the jurisdiction of Shenyang Railway Bureau.Using typical stations for design research,the advantages of centralized integration are summarized.The fourth chapter puts forward the old and featureless problems of small and medium-sized station buildings under the jurisdiction of Shenyang Railway Bureau.Furthermore,the principle and necessity of rebuilding small and medium-sized railway stations in Shenyang Railway Bureau are analyzed.Finally,through the design of typical station,some valuable methods to transform the station are studied.The fifth chapter to Xiuyan railwaystation as a design example,analyses and interprets the summary of the theories,methods,researches.The sixth chapter is the conclusion of the research.Based on the method of combining theory with practice,this paper studies the design method of small and medium-sized railway stations under the jurisdiction of Shenyang Railway Bureau,and provides some references for the future design and construction of small and medium-sized railway stations,especially those under the jurisdiction of Shenyang Railway Bureau.
