With the development of China’s railway industry and the process of urbanization accelerated, railway station in small and medium-size has become the main trend in recent years. Most of the small and medium-sized railway station is located in small city, and in addition to the main traffic function, the station square but also bear the function as the main open space of the small city. With the improvement of people’s living standards, and the change of traffic tools, functional requirements of users on the station square has become diversity, and the original simple station square’s form can’t meet the practical use demand,and the poor condition of the space environment and the low efficiency in the use of the station square has become increasingly prominent.There is practical significance through the study of the space function and spatial morphology, and then develop a set of theory-practice system suitable for medium and small-sized station square design.This thesis aimed at the small and medium-sized railway station square design, through the review of theory and practice in domestic and foreign related field,and then analysis the existing problems of small and medium-sized station square through in-depth investigation by questionnaire survey and interview survey, and then puts forward the integration design as a method of solving the problems. Then make a in-depth research on the strategy of the station square space integrated design with the support of abundant of design cases which aims to propose a set of feasible method for small and medium sized railway station square’s design.According to the logic of propose the problem, research the problem, solve the problem, the thesis is mainly divided into six parts:Part I: Introduction, as the first chapter. This part mainly expounded the research origin, background, main research contents and the research significance, and defines the relevant concepts, clarifies the research method and framework of the thesis.Part II: Related basic theory research, as the second chapter. This part mainly traces the development of the domestic and international railway station square’s theory and practice research,and analysis the space characteristics of small and medium-sized railway station square, so as to lay a solid theoretical foundation for the further study.Part III: Case research and problems analysis, as the third chapter. Through study of 10 small and medium-sized railway station squares, summary the problems into four aspects: singleness of layout form, confusion of traffic space, fragmentation of public service space, and conflict of landscape space.Part IV: Analysis of the integrated design and research on the integrated design strategy, the keystone part of this thesis,as the fourth and fifth chapters. In this part, through the research on the integration of elements, the way of integration design, integration principle, make clear of the application mechanism of integration design. The strategy research is mainly devided into four parts: the composite of overall layout, the order reconstruction of traffic space,the network construction of public service space, and the spatial fusion of landscape.Part V: Research on the integration practice, as the sixth chapter. This part takes Yibin Railway Station Square’s integration design as an example to examinate theory principle and strategy.Part VI: The conclusion, as the seventh chapter. This part mainly summarizes the viewpoints of the thesis, and puts forward the prospected future research. |
