Facing the opportunities and challenges of the new century,colleges have realized it is the goal to Cultivate talents with innovative consciousness and ability that meet the needs of the society.The professional certification of engineering education refers to the specialized certification carried out by professional certification institutions for engineering education majors opened by higher education institutions and it is an internationally accepted quality assurance system of Engineer ing Education It is also an important foundation for international mutual recognition of engineering education and engineer qualification.On one hand,connecting major reform with engineering ce rtification can promote the reform of talent training mode,enhance the professional connotation,improve the quality of talent training,and cultivate qualified talents,on the other hand,it can improve the professional popularity and help the future engineering graduates to obtain the internation al professional qualification.This paper starts with the investigation and analysis of the core competence and training quality of mechanism professionals,summarizes the social demand,current situation,problems an d future reform orientation of mechanism talents training.Combining with engineering certification standards,the paperaims at training applied innovative talents of mechanism specialty,takes the combination of school and enterprise as the platform,takes engineering practice as background an d takes the cultivation of engineering practice ability and innovation ability as the main line.The paper reconstructs the results oriented mechanism of professional training program,builds a three-dimensional practical teaching system of "four platforms,four combinations and five links",creates innovation teaching mode highlighting engineering practice and innovation ability,explores the construction of graduation requirement achievement evaluation system,improve quality continuous improvement measures and gradually forms a talent training mode of "taking students as the main body and cultivating innovation and entrepreneurship ability as the guidance".Professional reform and practice for engineering education professional certification can improve the quality of personnel training and professional awareness,prepare for successful professional certification and have a positive impact on the training of mechanical students and other eng ineering students in local universities and provide support for the improvement of international co mpetitiveness of Engineering Education in China.
