As the Taiwan region will enter into the aging society and super-aging society faster than expected,as well as the decline in the dependency ratio(Taiwan Regional Association for Dementia,2012),the demand for service care and medical care after a sharp increase in dementia population will also follow.The increase shows that we face the issues related to the aging society.Therefore,this study mainly discusses the needs of the elderly with psychiatric delirium and the need for caregiving in Taiwan.It also focuses on the exploration of the space of light and moderately dependent individuals,hoping to reduce the social cost of care for the dementia elderly and The heavy burden of a young generation.This study takes two different types of typical practice cases as the main research object.Through literature analysis,field research,face-to-face interviews,interdisciplinary field research,and research and practice as the methodological basis for this study,the existing home care is taken care of.The experience proposes another home care model that is suitable for the Taiwan region.With a view to remedying the current policy deficiencies and the redevelopment of the existing unfriendly domestic environment,we will discuss how to improve the spatial quality of care and care for the demented elderly and look forward to the mechanism of decentralization of institutional treatment to community care and home care.The purpose of reducing social welfare costs.
