This article mainly studies the experiential system design of the compound-type bookstores from the perspective of design theory,so as to provide better design theory guidance for the compound-type bookstores to create a comprehensive experience with culture.At present,compound-type bookstores are the main transformation trend of brick-and-mortar bookstores,with a great number of bookstores and vary in size,style,and market positioning.Although there are successful cases of this transformation,the model of compound-type bookstores is immature.In fact,physical bookstores still have to face the impact of the Internet and technology from the perspective of universality and timeliness.The market positioning of the compound-type bookstore is a compound public cultural experience space,and cultural experience is the unique advantage of the compound-type bookstore.Therefore,studying the content of the cultural experience of the compound-type bookstore and its current experience design issues are very important.We need to analyze from the perspective of user experience design.The word “compound” in the compound-type bookstore mainly refers to the business model of the brick-and-mortar bookstores.These bookstores no longer take the sale of books as the main function and benefit point,but mix multiple functions and profit points into the bookstore business model,which can carry out various business formats simultaneously.The article mainly studies the unique experience design mode in the compound-type bookstore,which combines classic cases,theories from literatures,then integrates the knowledge of the cultural and creative industries.It also summarizes the unique experience of contents and processes and the influence of the compound-type independent bookstore.Therefore,the content of this article is divided into the following four parts.The first chapter shows the market positioning of the compound-type bookstores under the backgrounds of consumer and experience economy,in which the compound public cultural experience space emerge in these kind of bookstores.Moreover,the compound-type bookstores are made of four components: experience subject,experience space design,experience product design and experience interactive service design.The second chapter mainly analyzes the multiple experience content of the compound-type bookstore,and explores the role of the experience of this bookstore and the needs of users.Chapter three analyzes how the three experience elements of compound independent bookstores,such as space design,product design and interactive service design,creativity of the bookstore's cultural experience atmosphere,and discusses with practical cases and theories.The fourth chapter is mainly to think about the essence of the development of experiential design in compound-type bookstores,and to reflect on the essence of it and make design suggestions.
