Research On Experiential Design Of Compound Physical Bookstore

With the popularization of e-reading,traditional bookstores are facing a crisis of survival and development due to the shortcomings of simple forms and single experience methods.In this trend,a composite physical bookstore has emerged at the historic moment.It is not only a place for selling books,but also a new type of reading space integrating leisure,entertainment,and catering.The compound bookstore is also a cultural experience space combining humanized functions.In this economically developed society where experience is paramount,the quality of people’s living standards is improved,and the experiential design will greatly meet the comfortable and convenient sensory needs of contemporary people.Therefore,the combination of compound bookstores and experiential design can highlight the advantages of bookstores.In terms of research objects,the research and analysis of compound bookstores is still relatively small,and the research is mostly biased towards contemporary new-type bookstores.Therefore,it is innovative to take the compound bookstore as the research object and analyze the bookstore space from the perspective of experiential design.The purpose of this article is to study how to apply experiential design to a composite physical bookstore.The thesis is divided into three parts including the introduction,the main text,and the summary.The main text is divided into four chapters.The first part is the introduction,which includes the research background,research purpose,research status at home and abroad,and research methods.It mainly introduces the background and significance of the subject research.The second part is the main text.First,the theoretical analysis of the compound bookstore and experiential design is conducted.Then,based on the results of the previous research of the compound bookstore,the environmental characteristics of the experience space and the elements of the experiential design are analyzed.The status quo of the example determines the design principles and design orientation,including the humanized design introduction and the influence of environmental characteristics in the experiential design of the bookstore;the theoretical knowledge is integrated later and integrated into the author’s design practice.The last part is the summary section,which summarizes the main points of the paper,points out the shortcomings in the paper and the prospect of the future development of composite bookstores,and proposes a meaningful design strategy for the current development of bookstores.
