Research On The Application Of BIM Based Construction Project Management

With the rapid development of the national economy,people's demand for architecture is increasing.The of large buildings,many functions,make the construction industry face a severe test,The traditional construction industry face severe challenges and the project management methods can no longer meet the needs of the market since the new characteristics of buildings,such as huge building volume size,complex structure types,and high environmental protection requirements.There a strong demand for new technologies and new management methods to solve the complex problem in construction industry.Recently,the Building Information Model(BIM)technology is introduced into the construction industry to solve these problems.However,most of existing applications of BIM in construction management are in design stage.They are usually used to check the building drawings and discover issues.Few of them is used in the construction management process.Based on its characteristics of visualization,intelligence,and information integration,BIM can effectively assist construction management,cost management,schedule management,quality and safety management in construction projects,and change the traditional inefficient management method of construction management.This article is based on the application theory of BIM technology and related knowledge of construction project management.Taking an office building construction management project as an example,it comprehensively studies the project progress management,cost management,quality and safety management and collaborative management between various managements during the construction process based on BIM technology analysis.In this paper,the development history and application status of BIM technology at home and abroad are comprehensively investigated by means of literature analysis.This paper discusses the current situation of application research on BIM technology construction project management,and puts forward the necessity of comprehensive research on collaborative management between construction of BIM technology collaborative management platform and construction project quality,safety,schedule and cost.This paper summarizes the theory of construction management project and the application methods of construction management project in quality,safety,schedule and cost.Based on the application of construction project management theory to the theoretical exploration of BIM technology in construction project management,the application principles and management control methods of BIM technology in project quality safety,cost management,schedule management and other aspects are summarized.Taking an office building construction management project as an example,the case analysis method is used to discuss the application principle and management mode of BIM technology construction project management platform construction and its application process.The results of our actual project management show that we solved more than 50 problems in drawings;optimized the management of comprehensive pipeline arrangement,shorten the schedule and reduce material costs;achieve clear height optimization,which is 0.2m higher than the standard 2.2m.By using BIM based collaborative management platform,the one-time acceptance rate of the project reached 100%,and the excellent rate reached more than 95% without any quality safety accidents.The feedback time of quality information is shortened by 2 days.The project rectified 83 cases of quality problems.The construction schedule was reduced by 40 Days,which is shortened to 5% of the original schedule.The project reduced 3.14 million cost,which is 2.2% less than the planned cost.The results verify the feasibility and efficiency of the comprehensive application of construction management based on BIM technology.It provides reference for the comprehensive collaborative management of construction projects in China's construction project enterprises.
