With the advancement of China’s modernized development and the informatization process of the construction industry,the construction industry has developed rapidly in recent years and has driven the development of our economy.At present,China’s construction industry is also facing a series of opportunities and challenges.Modern society has a higher demand for the appearance and performance of buildings,and the design and construction of buildings have become more difficult.Facing the challenges,China’s construction industry has also accelerated the localization of BIM technology in engineering,which has greatly improved the management and control of quality,cost,schedule,and safety of engineering projects.At present,although the application of BIM has been relatively extensive in engineering projects,the degree to which the project participants participate in collaborative work through BIM is still not high,and the application of BIM information communication and integrated management needs to be improved.This article takes this as a starting point,and mainly studies the management application of BIM technology for collaborative work of engineering projects,discusses its practicability through the construction of a BIM5D construction project management system integration platform,and the application of engineering examples throughout the project life cycle.The main research contents of this article are as follows:The paper analyzes the current research and application status of BIM at home and abroad,finds out the development status and shortcomings of BIM application in China,and lays a solid foundation for the construction of integrated platforms.Corresponding research on collaborative management theory and project life cycle theory,to build BIM5D management platform for project participants to participate in collaborative work more efficiently in the decision-making phase,design phase,construction phase and operation and maintenance phase.Through research and development,a BIM5D management platform based on the three modules of the data center,model center,and application center has been formed.Through the platform to realize the refined management of cost management,schedule management,security risk management,and quality management of construction projects,and through the synergy of the platform,promote the information interconnection and interoperability of the parties.This paper analyzes the case of A project,verifies the corresponding application of the decision phase,design phase and construction phase of A project,and makes corresponding plans for the application of its operation and maintenance phase,which verifies the practical performance of BIM5D platform.
