Research On Landscape Design Of Urban Public Children’s Activity Site Based On Nature Education

With the rapid development of the country’s urbanization,we are wrapping ourselves in a jungle of steel and concrete at a rate that will surprise the world.Against this backdrop,children have less and less space to move around in the city,and many suffer from "nature-deficit disorder" as a result of being away from nature for a long time.The introduction of nature education has provided new ideas for addressing this issue.Urban public playgrounds for children are the places where urban children have the most access to nature in their daily lives,and are also important places where children receive nature education.However,there are still many factors that are not conducive to children’s growth and development in most urban public playgrounds,including the lack of access to natural experiences,single play facilities and less space for children’s independent activities.Therefore,the study of the landscape design of urban public playgrounds for children under the guidance of the concept of nature education is necessary and has important practical significance.This paper combed through the current state of research on nature education and children’s playgrounds at home and abroad,elaborated on nature education,children’s psychological and behavioral characteristics,urban children’s playgrounds and other related concepts,as well as the relationship between children and nature,and argued the significance of combining nature education and urban public playgrounds for children.The paper also examines the main forms of nature education in playgrounds and its requirements,and provides a theoretical basis for the research and design strategies for urban public playgrounds integrated with nature education.We will analyze the best nature education design cases at home and abroad and summarize what can be learned from each case.In the end,a combination of theoretical research and case analysis is proposed to propose the principles and strategies of landscape design for urban public playgrounds for children based on nature education,and to find appropriate expression channels for nature education in urban public playgrounds for children.This paper has some theoretical value to the design of nature education in urban public playgrounds for children,which helps to the implement of the concept of nature education in children’s playgrounds.
