| Children are the future of the country.Today ’s society pays more and more attention to the healthy development of children.The proposal and practice of urban planning and construction also consider the needs of children.As the carrier of children’s activity behavior,space environment is closely related to the development of children.Therefore,the design of outdoor activity space for urban children has also been widely concerned.Nowadays,most of the children ’s outdoor activity space is mainly based on game and perception functions,paying more attention to the game function of the venue,lacking attention to the educational function,and not enough to form a good help for the growth of children.The application of natural education concept in outdoor children ’s activity space can also expand the second classroom and broaden children ’s natural knowledge.Therefore,how to create a children ’s outdoor activity space with the theme of natural education that children can learn in play is the main research content of this paper.First of all,from the the oretical research,the concept of natural education and the concept of children ’s outdoor activity space are analyzed and defined.Combined with children ’s cognitive development ability,the application method of natural education and the field conditions of children’s outdoor activity space,comprehensive thinking is carried out.Secondly,through the in-depth analysis of the activities of the existing natural education schools in China and the cases of children ’s outdoor activity space with natural education characteristics,the advantages and feasibility are summarized.And put forward the continuation of regional characteristics,child-oriented,mobilize sensory experience,fun,easy to read,time dimension six principles and four design strategies.Finally,through the questionnaire survey of children and parents ’preferences for natural education activities and natural education scenes,the design principles and users ’ actual preferences are applied to the design of children ’s outdoor activity space with the theme of natural education.In the practical design,this study extracted the local characteristic birds to create the clues of the story theme,promoted the series of natural education activities with the story landscape scene,and designed the location of Changchun Nanxi Wetland Park Children ’s Park through the prominent display of wetland culture,natural plant configuration,wide use of natural materials,interesting interpretation methods,and easy-to-understand interpretation facilities.Create a large outdoor natural education classroom for children,and try to introduce the concept of time dimension into natural education activities through the combination of story clues and landscape facilities.By planning a series of interesting and vivid natural education activities,children ’s natural perception ability and love for natural knowledge are cultivated,and children ’s initiative to explore nature independently is stimulated.It is expected that this design research can better promote the development of children ’s outdoor activity space,so that more people begin to pay attention to the application of educational function in children ’s outdoor activity space. |
