The community is the basic place for the production and life of urban residents, and it is also the basic unit of the city.In the process of long-term development,it has formed its own distinctive community style and community culture. The community is also the emotional belonging of individuals in big cities. However, the changes in social networks and interpersonal communication methods have led to the failure of traditional communities to meet the needs of residents. Some old communities have suffered from deteriorating living environments, indifferent relationships between residents, and insufficient community vitality.Community regeneration is imminent. The community regeneration model of a large demolition and construction requires high amounts of funds and management levels, and it is difficult to balance the interests of all parties.More importantly, the characteristics and culture of the community will disappear. The community regeneration should not be temporary,it should be a sustainable operation. Therefore,it is necessary to seek a small-scale and progressive community micro-regeneration strategy. This thesis considers urban communities as organic living organisms, and introduces the "Urban Acupuncture" Theory, analysis and research on community micro-regeneration strategies based on "Urban Acupuncture" Theory systematically, explore community micro-regeneration methods that meet current needs better. The thesis mainly includes six parts, the main contents are as follows:The first chapter is the introduction, which mainly expounds the research background, related concepts, research purpose and significance, research method and content of the thesis. The second chapter is the research of related theory, which mainly studies the theoretical and practical progress related to community micro-regeneration and "Urban Acupuncture" Theory at home and abroad, and lays a theoretical foundation for the writing of this thesis by summing up the theoretical evolution and practical results. The third chapter is the key elements and design principles of the community micro-regeneration,this chapter introduces the "Urban Acupuncture" Theory into the community micro-regeneration.Firstly,analyze the current situation of community micro-regeneration;then extract the three key elements of the community micro-regeneration: the scale of involvement, the main body of participation, the achievement of the micro-regeneration;finally,summarize the principles of the community micro-regeneration based on the "Urban Acupuncture" Theory: the acupuncture points should be sensitive, the regeneration scale should be small, the micro-regeneration process should be gradual, the micro-regeneration space can be catalyzed, the micro-regeneration results should be related. The fourth chapter is the strategy of community micro-regeneration based on "Urban Acupuncture" Theory, the main content is the specific explanation of the community micro-regeneration based on "Urban Acupuncture" Theory, using the actual case as a guide, introduce on how to apply the "Urban Acupuncture" Theory to the community micro-regeneration detailed and specific,it lays the foundation for applying the strategy to the community micro-regeneration practice. The fifth chapter is the example of verification, taking the micro-regeneration of Guangzhou Zhusigang community as the research object, analyze and evaluate it from the perspective of "Urban Acupuncture" Theory, show a case of applying the "Urban Acupuncture" Theory to the micro-regeneration of the community. The sixth chapter is conclusions and prospects. It mainly summarizes the research content and innovations of the full text, and summarizes the shortcomings of this research and prospects for the subsequent research.
