The Micro-renwal Strategy For Huanghuagang Street In Dongxing City Based On The Urban Acupuncture Theory

Besides being utilized for residential and industrial purposes,urban streets are also considered gallery spaces to perform domestic features with culture.China’s urbanization continues to grow,which contributes to the growth of the population in the city.Thus,the demand for urban resources exceeds the supply,the transportation system is overcrowded,and the old regions are experiencing declining vigor.As urban renewal processes move from disorderly growth to incremental optimization,behaviors are recommended to respond to urbanized issues such as improving functional structure in urban areas,creating a livable environment for residents,and balancing the protection of culture with urban development.This study focuses on the ’weak inheritance’ in local areas,and the unpredictable profits and investments that can be achieved through urban renewal,using Huanghuagang street in Dongxing city as an example,and makes the following research:(1)Based on the urban acupuncture theory,adopting a low cost,small scale,gradual micro-renewal strategy,improving the spatial quality and performance for urban street.To propose an application scenario with domestic features.(2)Identifying the development approaches and planning needs in Dongxing city and combining them with existing conditions.During urban acupuncture theory research for micro-renewal,a set of feasible methods and guidelines will be proposed,along with similar renewal acupuncture points to recreate Dongxing’s local ways.(3)Improving the temporary renewal system for participants to foster positive relationships between government,sponsor(developer)and public,so that further related research can be conducted.The major research routes including:It begins with an explanation of the background of urban micro-renewal,the current situation of Dongxing city and the orientation of renewal policy,and an analysis of the new demands of urbanization development.Taking into consideration the development connotations and requirements of small and medium-sized cities in my country,the significance of urban micro-renewal,as well as the feasibility of acupuncture and moxibustion theory is clarified,the research scope and objects are defined,and the subject as well as the technical route are outlined.This is followed by a case study that provides an overview of the basic theory and its application in practice.A theoretical and practical analysis of "urban acupuncture" micro-renewal is conducted by analyzing relevant basic theories and practical cases from home and abroad.This paper focuses on the theoretical connotations and practical elements of urban acupuncture and moxibustion,the shortcomings of the current literature and policy research,and the degree of fit and theoretical advantages of the urban acupuncture theory and the research object.Describe the current situation and regional problems of Huanghuagang street in Dongxing city in detail,analyze the current situation,summarize and analyze the current situation of Huanghuagang street.As a practical case of urban microregeneration of acupoints,Huanghuagang street Sub-district of Dongxing city provides a systematic explanation of the selection elements and theoretical support,and the implementation methods are presented based on urban acupuncture theory and micro-regeneration techniques.The fourth part is the research on the micro renewal strategy of Huanghuagang road sub district in Dongxing City Taking Huanghuagang street as an example,in which the previous chapter describes the current situation and outlines a new strategy and positioning,and clarifies the research objective in order to visualize the application of urban acupuncture theory in practical work,emphasizing the inadequacy of the current implementation of urban renewal policies in my country,providing the research basis for subsequent chapters.In the fifth part,the micro-renewal of Huanghuagang street in Dongxing city will be designed and implemented,demonstrating the feasibility and operability of the micro-renewal of "urban acupuncture" streets in Dongxing city.Providing design guidance and real-time updates,the street micro-update verifies project practice results,establishes a post-evaluation system,and improves suggestions.This paper describes the method and theory of "urban acupuncture" street micro-renewal proposed in final part,puts forward the innovation,describes the deficiencies in the research,and presents a new prospect for a micro-update for the application of "urban acupuncture".
