With the development of the national free trade zone and the implementation of the wider opening policy such as "The Belt and Road",the demand for international trade has been further released. The operation of the container terminal is mainly through the loading and unloading operation of large-scale port machinery equipments. The internal key of the indicators is the management of equipment spare parts.Based on the practice of HT terminal, this paper expounds and analyzes the current situation of spare parts management of HT terminal. In view of the existing problems of spare parts management, combined with relevant management theories and methods, the optimization is carried out in many aspects.First, different demand forecasting and ordering models are formulated,at the same time, the inventory management mode of VMI and JMI is combined to formulate the inventory strategy table of classified spare parts.Secondly, the procurement process and warehouse management process are optimized.Combined with the TPM management concept, the optimization of spare parts strategy feedback mechanism of equipment maintenance records, information sharing optimization of equipment maintenance records, and 5S optimization of spare parts storage in mechanical warehouse are discussed. Finally,it puts forward three guarantee measures of spare parts management optimizations.Through a series of optimization measures,we strive to improve the existing spare parts management of HT terminal, and achieve the goal of reducing the inventory of spare parts, ensuring the use demand of equipments, and improving the service level of spare parts.
