Research On Spare Parts Inventory Management Of Construction Equipment In S Company’s Overseas Engineering Projects

With S company’s full participation in the international market competition,the previous extensive equipment spare parts management mode is no longer suitable for the harsh construction period requirements and competitive environment of overseas engineering projects.First of all,with the development of economy,construction equipment is becoming more and more refined,and there are more and more kinds of spare parts.How to effectively classify the spare parts of construction equipment and ensure the efficient use of targeted project resources has become the starting point for S company to improve the inventory management of construction equipment spare parts.Then,because the procurement lead time of overseas engineering projects is long,the project needs to make a procurement decision before the actual occurrence of spare parts demand,so how to improve the accuracy of spare parts demand prediction has become the focus of S company to improve the inventory management of construction equipment spare parts.In this paper,based on the real data of a certain level project in southern Europe of S company,a two-stage classification system is proposed,which classifies the construction equipment according to the characteristics of the construction period of overseas engineering pro.jects according to the traditional ABC classification method,and then classifies the spare parts on the basis of the classification of construction equipment.Then,on the basis of spare parts classification,exponential smoothing method was introduced to forecast the demand for general spare parts.Combined with the improved periodic check(T.S)strategy and the economic order volume model,the inventory management strategy for general spare parts was established.Finally,on the basis of spare parts classification,the paper introduces the optimal availability model for key spare parts,establishes the maximum safety inventory with the optimal availability model,and establishes the inventory management strategy for key spare parts with fixed order point and maximum inventory(R,S)strategy.
