Research On Techniques Of Inventory Management For Manufacturer Of Civil Aircraft Spare Parts

A civil aircraft has a complex structure, a wide variety of spare parts. Funds in the aircraft spare parts inventory account for a large proportion of operating costs. Scientific and effective management of spare part is very important to spare parts support and service,and it is one of the key factors to win in the market for the main manufacturer of civil aircraft.This paper beginning at the civil aircrafts'spare parts inventory management technology, presents the importance of the purpose and significance of the civil aircrafts'spare parts inventory management,and the content and key work processes of spare parts inventory management, this leads to the focus of this study——inventory control of spare parts. Inventory control of spare parts is a very important aspect in the work of spare part inventory management, it mainly includes two aspects: the identification of species and stock number of spare parts. This paper describes in detail the specific steps for spare parts project identification, detailed analyzed the influential factors for species identified of spare parts, then according to the actual situation, selected the appropriate factors,determined a species identified model of spare parts,generate an inventory list; On the basis of this inventory list, Classifyed the spare parts, This article in accordance with civil aviation transportation practices and spare parts management characteristics and routine, spare parts were divided into revoling spare parts and expendable spare parts,according to their respective characteristics, inventory Control decision were made separately,so that the spare parts inventory management for main manufacturer of civil aircraft has become scientific and standard.This paper also describes the design,function and realization of the civil aircraft spare parts inventory control software, generated the project examples.The research of this paper solves the problem of spare parts species identified and inventory control only relies on experience, and is significant to construct our Chinese aircraft manufacturing and consummate the spares support systems.
