With the implementation of the "Made in China 2025" strategy,international logistics supported by port logistics has developed rapidly.All major container terminal companies realize that they must attach great importance to the stimulation and guidance of highly skilled personnel to enhance their core competitiveness.How to guide and motivate the development path of high-skilled talents within the enterprise through career management to create consistency between the goals of high-skilled talents and the strategic development direction of the enterprise,so as to achieve a win-win situation between enterprises and high-skilled talents is the main purpose of this study.To this end,we take Xiamen Container Terminal Company A(hereinafter referred to as "Company A")as an example to explore how container terminal companies can improve their career management strategies for highly skilled personnel.According to the questionnaire survey,the company's current high-skilled talents career management has the following problems: providing insufficient development opportunities,paying insufficient attention to high-skilled talents career management,difficultly meeting high-skilled employees' training needs,and the unfair employment management mechanism.By combining career management theory and motivation theory,we found that the main underlying reasons leading to the above problems are unreasonable design of career development channels,inadequacy of career management related systems,lack of an objective assessment of the skills of highly skilled talents,and insufficient training system,and unscientific design of incentive system.To this end,this paper proposes four aspects of specific career management optimization strategies,namely,clearly defining the career development needs of high-skilled talents,broadening the career growth path of high-skilled talents,improving the construction of career training systems for high-skilled talents,and improving the assessment and incentive system for career training of high-skilled talents.Finally,in order to ensure the smooth operation of the career management optimization strategy,this study proposes specific safeguard measures from the aspects of improving organizational guarantee,institutional safeguard,accelerating information construction.We establish the organizational guarantees from the aspects of building career management awareness and culture,strengthening the construction of human resources departments,forming a career management committee,and establishing a high-skilled talent training effectiveness evaluation group.We put forward institutional safeguard measures by establishing high-performance evaluation system,career management training system,highly skilled talent competition and selection mechanism.We also strengthen the informatization of career management from the establishment of post information release platform,training information release platform,human resource management information platform.
