As the carrier of urban characteristic culture and activities,urban charm space is the concentrated embodiment of improving the core competitiveness of a city.Since the reform and opening up,the urbanization process of our country is accelerating day by day and the city scale is expanding continuously.At the same time,"lack of characteristics" and "crisis of characteristics" appear in many cities,and the communication and activity space of residents can no longer meet the growing needs of urban development and the spirit of residents.Therefore,as the carrier of material environment and human activities,urban charm space has attracted wide attention from all walks of life.Based on this,this study attempts to starting from the concept and connotation of urban charm space,PSPL analysis and SD analysis as the main method,to urban public space(PS)and the social space(PL)as the research object,in hefei for demonstration area,the city charm space factor,establishing evaluation system of charming urban Spaces,construct the charming urban space system model,discuss charm city spatial layout pattern and development strategy,in order to optimize the urban layout,shape the city characteristics,provide theoretical basis and practical guidance to improve the quality of city.First,literature review,online public opinion analysis,SD method and traditional research method were used to analyze the influencing factors of charm space,and the elements set constructed by hefei charm space system was comprehensively extracted.Secondly,based on the PSPL method,combined with the analysis of the status quo and characteristics of hefei charm space,starting from the double perspective of PS and PL,the charm space elements were selected to determine the construction level,and the system model of charm space with multiple elements,multiple levels and multiple levels.Based on this model,the evaluation system was verified in practice at the level of Hefei's main urban area,and the evaluation system was verified in practice through baidu POI data and GIS analysis,which provided a scientific and feasible evaluation basis for the construction of hefei's charm space system.Finally,on this basis,the paper discusses the construction strategy of charm space system.The research draws the following conclusions :(1)the PS problems of hefei charm space include the single function of natural ecological space,mainly protection,and the lack of comfort and pleasure;There is a lack of cultural cohesion in historical space,and the sense of urban memory is weak.The intention of urban cultural space is not clear and lacks systematic connection.The problems of PL include less interactive and experiential activities with cultural characteristics;Insufficient activity sites and single facilities;The activity lacks overall planning,the space connotation is insufficient.(2)through the analysis of the characteristics of space environment and communication activities,it is found that natural ecology,urban culture,historical culture,travel activities,stopping activities and urban cultural activities are the main influencing factors of urban charm space,and the evaluation system model of urban charm space is constructed.(3)inside the main urban area,the potential space density area is formed,forming the spatial distribution feature of "multi-core,scattered,and axis initial appearance".(4)in combination with the actual situation of urban spatial structure in Hefei and the positioning of urban development,the spatial elements of charm and urban spatial structure are correlated and integrated,and the spatial system pattern of "two centers,two axes,one corridor,two belts,two districts and N points" is proposed.Figure[59] table[32] reference[93]...
