Research On Post-use Evaluation Of Public Space In Open Blocks Based On PSPL Method

Since 2015,the Party Central Committee and the State Council have adopted the top-level design,which requires the promotion of the block system,and advocates the gradual opening of enclosed walls.In fact,the development of open blocks has been experienced in China for a period of time.Compared with closed blocks,its advantages and its very active internal public space atmosphere have gradually and steadily developed with the economic level of China.The emphasis on vitality is more prominent.However,in practice,open street public spaces often fail to achieve the expected design goals,and in the past subjective public space evaluation methods based on questionnaire surveys,it is difficult to objectively evaluate public spaces and give targeted improvement suggestions.Danish architectural planner Yang Gael has continuously achieved results in the practice of public space design and evaluation methods.Therefore,the design theory and evaluation methods of public spaces are worthy of our study and research.Based on the investigation and research of the public space of open blocks in the country by using the PSPL research method of Yangel,this article tries to combine the PSPL law with the actual situation in China,and attempts to use this paper to comprehensively study the actual cases of public space in open blocks in China.Orientation evaluation and give suggestions for improvement.Combined with the advantages and disadvantages of the actual case,it can provide reference experience for the planning and construction of public space in my country in the future,and strive to implement the new development concept and build a vibrant and sustainable open space public space that meets my country's national conditions.This article is divided into six chapters for research:The first chapter introduces the background of street public space research,the purpose and significance of this paper,the research object of this paper,the relevant literature review and research methods at home and abroad.The second chapter defines the relevant concepts of open blocks,public spaces,post-use evaluation and PSPL method,introduces relevant practical cases,and finally summarizes the practical significance of the relevant theories.The third chapter is a survey of the actual situation of public space cases in Chuangzhifang District,Shanghai.It first introduces the survey case overview and secondly designs the PSPL survey process of this case study.The fourth chapter analyzes the public space quality and staying activities,summarizes the public space quality status and public life status in the case,and gives corresponding suggestions for improving the public space in the case.The fifth chapter summarizes the strategy of open block public space design and construction from the four levels of block public space overall planning,space design,road system and sustainability.The sixth chapter summarizes and summarizes the contents of the first five chapters,briefly elaborates the relevant research results of this article,and reflects on the shortcomings of this research and explores possible future research directions.
