With the global economic development,excessive emissions of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide have caused global warming and sea levels rising,which have became widespread concern.China's annual carbon emissions are huge at present,and one-third of which are from the construction industry,so it is an important source of carbon reduction.Among them,the number of primary and secondary school buildings has increased in recent years,and the characteristics of energy use are significant.Therefore,this paper provides strategies of technology selection for new construction projects in practice by studying the application of carbon reduction technology in campus buildings.First of all,this study starts from the actual situation,based on the existing building cases,focuses on teaching buildings in campus.Two typical building characteristics are obtained through the cluster analysis method of SPSS by related building parameters.Therefore,we can select the typical building cases for further study.Secondly,this article summarizes 22 types of carbon reduction technologies based on the actual application and the corresponding specifications.There are three major categories,including improving the thermal performance of maintenance structures,utilizing renewable energy,and improving the efficiency of appliances.Among them,there are 8 technologies for improving the wall structure,4 technologies for roof and floor thermal insulation,and 4 different materials for windows.Moreover,3 technologies using renewable energy,and 3 technologies improving the efficiency of appliances are also studied.Based on these 22 technologies,this paper proposes indicators of carbon reduction degree,economy degree,and acceptance degree from three dimensions of effect brought by technology.The three indicators are set to evaluate the effects of carbon reduction,required economic investment,convenience and practical use.The carbon reduction degree is obtained by Design Builder simulating the amount of carbon reduction after applying technology to two typical buildings.The economy degree is calculated from the data of incremental cost per unit of building area for the two types of typical buildings after market research.The acceptance degree rely on the questionnaire survey of the construction practitioners,paying attention to the difficulties of each technology may bring about in the actual design and construction process of the project.Further,according to the performance of each technology under the three indicators,every single indicator is assigned as outstanding,moderate,and weak.Based on two indicators' evaluation level of each technology,the recommend level in the two-dimensions can be got of each technology.The recommend level consists prior recommended,moderate recommended and poor recommended.According to the carbon reduction-economy recommended level,carbon reduction-acceptance recommended level,economy-acceptance recommended level,and the three results are combined to obtain the recommendation level of the single technology under comprehensive evaluation.Finally,in the actual project,the campus teaching buildings can be classified according to typical buildings,and define the goals and positioning of the carbon reduction technology applied.The technology selection strategies purchasing one of carbon reduction,economy,and acceptance can be obtained,and so do the strategies of purchasing two or total of them.
