With the rapid development of the service economy and innovation-driven strategy in the Construction Market,construction enterprises are gradually realizing that the existing extensive management model and the flooding of homogenized products cannot meet the market demand.Therefore,it is extremely urgent to change the structure of existing technology products and to implement services throughout the total life cycle of construction products.Service innovation as a development direction of construction enterprises,based on the improvement of service items,service contents,service quality and service processes of existing building products and technologies,or the introduction of new service products applied to the whole life cycle of construction products,can effectively make up The lack of a single service package and service structure can effectively promote the sustainable and quality development of construction enterprises.This paper takes construction enterprises as the research object and finds that it is difficult for most construction enterprises to rely on their own resources to develop service innovation to gain competitive advantage.It is urgent to break the boundaries of enterprises to obtain the necessary resources and effectively transform them to improve their service innovation performance.For the construction enterprise,it can break the boundary by actively constructing the social network,and through the value creation behavior with the various stakeholders in the network,thereby effectively combining the resources acquired in the network with their own resources,and then integrating and transforming for the improvement of service innovation performance.Therefore,this paper takes Chinese construction enterprises as the research object,based on the theory of service innovation and social network,introduces value co-creation as a mediator variable,and explores the mechanism of social network effects on service innovation performance.Mainly studies whether building social networks will promote service innovation performance? Which dimensions can significantly affect the improvement of service innovation performance? Will value co-creation produce an intermediary effect on the service innovation performance of construction enterprises by influencing social networks? The empirical research part is based on formal questionnaire survey,Take the Chinese Construction Industry ManagementAssociation promulgating the top 500 Chinese construction enterprises in the past three years as sample,collected 334 valid questionnaires from relevant practitioners and construction industry experts which coming from Beijing,Hebei Province,Shaanxi Province,Inner Mongolia,Henan Province,Heilongjiang Province,Shanghai.The relevant statistical analysis was carried out by using SPSS software.At the same time,structural equations were used to verify the specific influence path and mediation effect hypothesis between social networks,value co-creation and construction enterprise service innovation performance.The paper draws the following conclusions:(1)The social network has positive impact on the service innovation performance of construction enterprises,in which network scale,network strength and network heterogeneity have significant effects on service innovation performance;(2)Value creation plays a partial mediation role in the the relationship between social networks and construction enterprise service innovation performance,in which value creation plays a partial mediation role in the relationship between network scale,network strength and construction enterprise service innovation performance,and plays a full mediation role between network heterogeneity and construction enterprise service innovation performance.The research conclusions confirm that the cross-over study of service innovation theory and social network theory which apply on construction enterprises is an innovative theoretical exploration,It demonstrates the value co-creation plays a partial mediation role in the the relationship between social networks and construction enterprise service innovation performance which needs to be observed by the construction enterprise.
