Study On The Influence Of Port Logistics Service Innovation On Enterprise Performance

Ports,as the global integrated transport network nodes,are being developed towards the direction of internationalization,multifunction,systematization,informatization and standardization.How to improve enterprise core competitiveness under the dual drive of external pressure and internal motivation becomes the issue that port logistics enterprises should consider about.Under this background,the innovation of logistics service becomes the breach of the port logistics enterprises.Based on the logistics service innovation theory and combing the integration of literature review,through the analysis of the variables and the proposition of the research hypothesis,this paper constructed structure models of five variables: port logistics enterprise service innovation elements,port logistics enterprise service path innovation,port logistics enterprise service quality,port logistics enterprise performance and port logistics enterprise transformation and upgrading,and put forward the corresponding research hypothesis.Taking the typical logistics enterprises within Djibouti port as the searching sample,this paper got the data by means of questionnaire survey,carried on the analysis of descriptive statistics,letter validity,etc.,in order to verify the assumptions in this model.This paper also put forward some specific suggestions on improving the service innovation ability of the port logistics enterprises,which has important significance to improve the service innovation ability.The innovation of this article lies in the following three aspects: First,the paper summarized the research status of the modern logistics enterprise service innovation and port logistics service innovation at home and abroad,carried on deeper researches on the meaning and process of service innovation from the view of port enterprises.Second,it broke through traditional service innovation model,on the basis of the integration of existing model induction,increased the port logistics enterprise service innovation elements,port logistics enterprise service path innovation and port logistics enterprise transformation and upgrading,which more fully reflect mutual and recurrent relationship of each variable of logistics enterprise service innovation.Third,Djibouti port is the biggest port in Djibouti,and also one of the largest modern ports in East Africa,which has its typical representation.Therefore,the results of the study not only have important significance to Djibouti port logistics enterprises,but also guide the port logistics industry to speed up the pace of service innovation and play an important role to enhance the whole level of the industry.
