Research On Intelligent Heuristic Design Of Industrial Product Modeling Based On Open Innovation

With the continuous development of social economy,people's requirements for the quality and diversity of industrial products have also increased.Nowadays,the function and quality of industrial products tends to be homogeneous,so product modelling has become an important factor to win the market and users.Therefore,enterprises also pay more attention to the innovative design of product modelling.However,the knowledge limitations of enterprises and designers has obstructed the process of innovation,so they need appropriate heuristic design methods and tools to better carry out innovative design.Through the research on the process of industrial product modelling design,it is concluded that the two stages of design process — design investigation and scheme generation — are the focus of heuristic design.Through the research of literature and design practice,it is concluded that successful product pictures,users' creative pictures and natural object pictures can help designers to broaden their thinking and stimulate their inspiration;brainstorming,KJ method and TRIZ methods in creative methods can help designers to carry out innovative ideas.Open innovation is an innovative mode that enterprises and other innovators encourage and seek innovative resources both internally and externally,and develop market opportunities through a variety of channels,which can help enterprises gain support from users,upstream and downstream enterprises,technical institutions and intellectual property institutions,and then obtain market information resources and technical resources,so as to better carry out innovative design.The information retrieval method based on Generative Adversarial Networks(GAN)in artificial intelligence can help designers to improve the efficiency of searching design inspiration resources such as pictures while generating conceptual ideas,and then inspire designers to complete more conceptual design schemes.According to the above theories and methods,an intelligent heuristic design model for industrial product modelling based on open innovation is constructed.The research on open innovation platforms and design resource websites analyzed the functions,characteristics,advantages and disadvantages of many kinds of design heuristic tools.The questionnaire survey on users of design heuristic tools clarified their needs,pain points and hope points.The design heuristic resource retrieval algorithm based on GAN preliminarily realizes the function of fitting designer's search preferences,and it is proved that the retrieval performance of the GAN algorithm is basically the same as that of Behance website in a comparative experiment;the GAN algorithm has good application value and development space.In order to illustrate the specific application method of heuristic design model,an intelligent heuristic design platform for industrial product modeling was designed and developed.Through the three core modules of platform — design resources,inspiration tools and design cooperation,we can help enterprises and designers,with the help of multi-participants,more effectively broaden thinking and stimulate inspiration,improve the efficiency of innovative design of industrial products modeling,and promote the success of products in the market.
