From the 1970 s to the 1990 s,with the increase of the population,China invested a large amount of human,material and financial resources in housing construction to cope with the serious shortage of housing for urban residents,so that the housing needs and living conditions of urban residents were basically met.After entering the 21 st century,along with our country economy and the rapid development of housing construction,residents living standards improve,lifestyle changes,the huge stock of urban type is common both residential aging serious,live performance degradation,living quality problem,already can't satisfy people's growing demand.What kind of means can be used to effectively solve these problems and extend the life of the residence is an important subject worth studying.Since all the time,the residence of our country is updated much with "tear open big build" be a foundation,the service life of the residence often does not exceed 30 years,far the design life of the residence.However,the large demolition and large construction will cause serious waste of resources,does not meet the requirements of the concept of development,and,the long-term formation of the residential environment and community culture is also gradually lost in the large demolition and large construction.In recent years,with the introduction of policies such as "building an intensive society" and the improvement of people's ideological awareness,residential transformation has begun to rise.However,due to the late start of residential transformation in China,a set of mature residential transformation theory has not been formed so far.In the first chapter,this paper determines the research object and content,and formulates the research method and framework through the in-depth understanding of the background of China's housing construction and development.The second chapter summarizes the methods used in the renovation of existing residential buildings at home and abroad by studying relevant theories and extensively analyzing relevant practical cases.The third chapter on the basis of theoretical research and practical experience,a large number of the second stage of the analysis of the urban residential construction is built between 1977 and 1998,multi-storey residential types and characteristics,by looking up information,on-the-spot investigation,understand the residents' basic needs,summarizes its main problems,for city under the new situation of multistorey residential renovation direction are pointed out.In chapter 4,based on the goal of residential building habitability design,aiming at the existing problems of urban multi-storey residential buildings,the goal system of habitability transformation is established,and the specific goal is formulated for the research on the method of habitability transformation.The fifth chapter combines the existing practical experience,analyzes and sorts out according to the goal of habitability transformation,and puts forward the method of habitability transformation for the existing urban multi-storey residence.In chapter 6,based on the problems existing in the existing urban multi-storey residential buildings,this paper adopts the method of habitability transformation and selects typical cases for the design of habitability transformation for different types of urban multi-storey residential buildings,so as to make rational use of the method of habitability transformation for the existing urban multi-storey residential buildings.
