In the context of the increasing demand for floor area ratio in urban construction in China's coastal economically developed areas and the development of key special projects for the 13th Five-Year National Key R&D Program, this paper attempts to present a single-element determinant and point residential building of the present form. The shape is optimized to meet both the sunshine requirement and the high volume ratio, and the traditional settlement organization concept can be uploaded to a certain extent. The research results can provide reference for the optimization design of residential buildings. The research ideas in this paper are divided into five parts. The first part of the preliminary study mainly analyzes the traditional settlement case and the classic community case, and determines the various basic forms of the study below;the second part determines the simulation calculation tool, and proposes the following "non-constructible area" research indicators with reference to the current sunshine specification; The third part is the main part of the research. From single building to multiple buildings, the sunshine analysis is carried out after changing the orientation, roof slope, relative angle, surface width and number of layers.Through longitudinal comparison, how to pass a series of studies The method is optimized to improve the volumetric ratio;the fourth part is to apply the optimal shape under the premise of controlling the variables in the third part, and carry out the strong row design and the horizontal comparison in the actual land;the fifth part adopts the previous study. The method explores the possibility of optimization of multi-story residential building form by doing urban design on real blocks.
