Research On The Renovation Of Existing Buildings Into Community Old-age Facilities

At present,under the premise of advocating home-based care for the elderly in China,the care of the elderly in urban communities has become a major and difficult point.Community care facilities for the elderly can provide care services for the elderly during their working hours,that is,to reduce the burden on the children of the elderly,and to allow the elderly to continue living in a familiar community,which is an important part of achieving the goal of home-based care.At present,the community care facilities that have been put into use are mostly reconstructed by other buildings.The lack of theoretical guidance leads to unsatisfactory results,which makes it difficult for many facilities to meet the actual needs of the elderly.At present,the research on the renovation of community old-age buildings is mainly focused on the aging renovation of old residential buildings.The research on the transformation of other idle spaces into elderly care facilities is almost blank,lacking instructive research results,and it is difficult to meet the needs of many communities to take care of facilities.In the face of the above situation,some of the existing idle buildings(such as old houses,idle top floor commercial spaces,used school buildings and factories)are not effectively utilized,so the idle space in the community is transformed into the elderly care facilities.The research can not only solve the problem of reuse of idle space,but also improve the construction of community old-age facilities,which is of great significance to solve the problem of homeage care for the elderly in our country and the standardization of community pension.The main research scope of this paper is the characteristics of community pension facilities,the strategy of community idle existing buildings to transform into old-age facilities and their practical design.The main purpose and method are:First of all,we need to clarify the definition of the two;secondly,we can understand the properties,scale and surrounding environment of the existing buildings in the community through pre-reading literature,visiting surveys and questionnaires,and study the advantages and disadvantages of existing cases in community pension facilities.Relevant laws and regulations,etc.;then,in combination with the actual needs of the community,analyze the various attributes of existing buildings to transform into the advantages of old-age facilities;and then on the basis of existing norms,transform the existing buildings of the community into the space for old-age facilities.The composition,function streamline and external environment design propose corresponding transformation strategies and key points.Finally,the existing buildings in the community are selected for transformation,and the transformation strategy obtained in the previous section is applied to the actual case.It is hoped that the research in this paper will create a safe,secure and stable environment for the elderly to spend their old age in the community.
