Suzhou embroidery is one of the traditional handicrafts with a long history in China.It is also a representative cultural symbol of Suzhou.Suzhou city souvenir is more to reflect a kind of spiritual and cultural expression and mind.How to combine Suzhou embroidery with Suzhou City souvenir,carry on innovative multiple form figure transformation to Suzhou embroidery culture element in Suzhou city souvenir design,so that Suzhou embroidery culture can return to life better,carry forward and develop Suzhou embroidery culture,enhancing city influence and building business value are worthy of our research,and are also the focus of this paper.This article takes Suzhou city souvenir as the object,Suzhou embroidery culture element as the innovation point,summarizes and analyzes the Suzhou embroidery traditional handicraft and the modern people's life union concrete question.This paper analyses the advantages of typical image patterns,graphic transformation of techniques and color induction and comparison in the prosperous period of Suzhou embroidery.The explicit elements and hidden elements hidden in Suzhou embroidery culture are extracted and transformed by the theory of “Metric Design”,and the logical relationship is combed.Starting from the aspects of daily necessities,specialty packaging,decorations,cultural products,interesting toys,clothing and accessories,it is presented as a souvenir of tourism memorial and city official business,which links the characteristics of the whole regional city.Suzhou embroidery culture has evolved from traditional handicrafts to city propaganda under contemporary market conditions.Cultural consumer goods have given a new cultural connotation.The special form of Suzhou embroidery culture element extraction and transformation based on “Metric Design” makes it better express Suzhou city connotation.This paper hopes that the study of Suzhou city souvenir design with the elements of Suzhou embroidery culture can effectively enhance the charm of regional culture and enhance the spread of culture.At the same time,it is hoped that it can provide valuable reference for the research on innovative design of traditional culture in other regions and the development and application of city souvenir.
