Research On The Application Of Urat Embroidery Pattern In The Design Of Cultural And Creative Products

Influenced by the nomads' productions and lifestyles,the Mongolian craftsmanship has a unique ethnic charm.The skillful craftsmen of the Mongolian Urat tribe are good at representing inspiration from elements in life and spiritual beliefs in the patterns of embroidery.Embroideries of Urat take an important role in Mongolian embroideries for its delicate stitching,unique shapes,elegant colors and traditional Buddhist patterns.Starting with Mongolian embroideries,this essay divides the Mongolian tribes' embroideries into several types with regionalism in Inner Mongolia,using comparative method to analyze the influence of regional factors on Mongolian embroidery styles and then analyzing the geographical factors and humanity factors on forming the history of Urat embroideries.At the same time,the field work is used to research and survey on the subjects,contents,techniques,as well as artistic styles and aesthetic characteristics of the Mongolian Urat tribe's embroidery patterns.With the highly enthusiasm of the ethnic culture,traditional culture and handicrafts gradually becomes the focus of the society.However,with the development of modern society,Urat embroideries have several problems,such as homogenization,limited types,high prices and lacking competitiveness,which limits its spread breadth.Nowadays,domestic embroidery researching bears little fruits on the visual design of embroideries.It only focus on clothing design,which prevents embroidery design from breaking through the limitations.This essay tries stepping out of the inflexible region of the embroidery and combining Urat embroideries with cultural and creative industries,which can not only transmit local culture and boost local economy effectively,but also promote nonmaterial cultural heritage to transmit lively and revive it as an innovative form to back to our life.Providing the reference and guidance for cultural and creative products design of Mongolia Urat embroideries patterns,as well as investigating the design samples of domestic and Mongolian excellent cultural and creative products,the author summarizes the advantages and the disadvantages about the Mongolia design in cultural and creative industries.Adopting the design elements of Mongolian Urat embroideries traditional pattern,making the cultural and creative products as the carriers,as creating the our Chinese nation's non-material cultural heritage.In order to refresh new vitality to non-material cultural heritage of Urat Mongolian embroideries,the author carries out the cultural and creative design researching of Mongolian Urat tribe's traditional embroideries pattern.
