Research On Northeast Homestay Design Based On Collective Memory

In recent years,with the transformation of national consumption concept and the encouragement and support of government policies,the homestay industry in most regions in China has developed rapidly and produced considerable economic benefits.The homestay industry has gradually become an important breakthrough in the development of tourism economy in various regions.In contrast,the homestay industry in Northeast China Region is in a relatively backward predicament and has not been effectively developed with the domestic homestay boom.At the same time,traditional architectural culture has dropped too much,which is caused by the domestic rapid process of urbanization,a common social groups miss this memory of a particular building nostalgia emotions.With the rising of social emotional consumption,homestay industry which satisfy the demands of social crowd memory of memory location has a good development prospect,this is an opportunity for the homestay in Northeast China Region.In this context,from the perspective of collective memory,this paper attempts to construct a design method suitable for the development of homestay industry in Northeast China Region.By analyzing these three system elements,which composed the collective memory of the design of homestay,combined with field investigation and data collection of homestay related cases,to construct the mode of homestay which goal is to realize the memory identity of the experiencing group in the residential quarters.The research focus of this paper is the design strategy and approach of the region’s homestay from the perspective of collective memory.The research content is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,which discusses the subject background of this research,summarizes the research status of collective memory and homestay design at home and abroad,and points out the purpose and significance of the research as well as the relevant research methods and researchframework.The second part is the basic research,which introduces the related concepts and characteristics of collective memory,summarizes the development status and development process of the region’s homestay and points out the current difficulties.On this basis,the feasibility study of the design of the region’s homestay from the perspective of collective memory is carried out.The third part is an analytical study of the collective memory system elements in the design of the region’s homestay,and an in-depth study and analysis of the concept,reality and role of the three collective memory elements,namely,the memory subject,the memory object and the memory carrier,in the design of homestay.The fourth part is the theoretical results of this study.Based on the analysis of the relationship between the design of the Northeast homestay and the three elements of collective memory,the design objectives of the Northeast homestay are established,and the design principles that should be followed are defined.The design process includes four stages: information collection of memory subject,image selection of memory object,prototype extraction of memory carrier and form reproduction of memory carrier.From this,a design model of the Northeast homestay based on collective memory is constructed,which provides a new way of thinking and method for solving the current predicament of the Northeast homestay.
