Research On The Application Of Regional Architectural Elements In Homestay Design

Rural tourism is the main force to revitalize rural economy,and rural homestay is an important part of rural tourism.As the competition of rural homestay becomes increasingly fierce,in order to realize the healthy and sustainable development of rural tourism industry,it is necessary to combine the local cultural characteristics,create more homestay environment in line with regional characteristics,and lay a good foundation for the shaping of tourism brand.In Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,there are more than ten ethnic groups living in compact communities,among which the Dong ethnic group has always maintained distinct ethnic cultural characteristics due to its small population,closed geographical environment and high concentration.Regional cultural characteristics are the focus of performance in the design of homestay,especially homestay as an architectural space with accommodation as the main function,its performance of regional architectural cultural characteristics is particularly important.Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County in Guangxi is an ethnic minority autonomous county with a high concentration of people.In the county,complete traditional buildings of Dong ethnic group with numerous types and low development level are preserved.On this basis,B&Bs development is carried out,which provides natural regional cultural resources for B&Bs design.Based on the analysis of the cultural characteristics of Dong traditional architecture and the extraction of cultural elements of Dong traditional architecture,this paper puts forward the design strategy of Dong cultural theme B&B,and combines modern design techniques to carry out the design practice of Dong cultural theme B&B.First of all,through field research and literature review and other methods to strengthen the feeling and cognition of Dong architecture,analyze the cultural characteristics of Dong architecture and extract elements in architectural form,structure,sketch and pattern and color.Secondly,through the relevant literature,clear the concept of "homestay" and regional,cultural,artistic and unique characteristics;Through field research and network research,cases are collected and analyzed,and problems such as weak cultural connotation,lack of experience and lack of design innovation are summarized in the design of homestays in Sanjiang area.Then,based on the cultural characteristics of Dong architecture and the relevant theoretical basis of homestayings,the corresponding design strategies of Dong culture-themed homestayings are proposed,including: The design principles of unity,experience and the combination of tradition and modernity,as well as the presentation methods and the expression techniques of complete placement,simplified reconstruction and innovative application through the architectural modeling,patterns,building materials and soft decorations of homestays;Finally,the resource environment and design orientation of the area where the homestays are located are analyzed,and a homestays space with both traditional architectural characteristics and modern aesthetic values is shaped by centering on culture,view and social interaction.
