Lin Bingnan is a well-known expert in hydraulics and river dynamics in China and a member of the Chinese academy of sciences.He has made outstanding contributions to the research and application of water conservancy engineering in China.In the practice of the Yangtze river,Lin was in the middle of the Yangtze river,and he had to go to the university of China,to study advanced water technology,and he had to go back to the country in January 1956,and he was actively involved in the construction of the People's Republic of China.He proposed the solution and calculation of the unsteady flow of the open channel,and pioneered the new energy dissipation technology of the broad tail pier,making important theoretical innovations for the Yangtze river management.In terms of sediment control,Lin Bingnan was appointed as the leader of the three gorges project in the redemonstration stage of the three gorges project.He chaired and coordinated the sediment research and demonstration work of the three gorges project.Lin Bingnan began in the Yangtze river water conservancy practice and theory innovation of management,and applied in the Yangtze river for a long time.In this paper,based on detailed historical data,using the historical materialism,history,by outlining Lin Bingnan historical process of the People's Republic of China water conservancy undertaking.Lin Bingnan were emphatically discussed in the Yangtze river in the governance theory and the practice achievement,summarizes Lin Bingnan achievements obtained in the Yangtze river in the governance for success,in order to from a side show that since the founding of the People's Republic of China Yangtze river magnificent history and water conservancy engineering technology elite outstanding historical contributions.
