With the advent of a new round of scientific and technological revolution,innovation has become the source of power for the development of all countries in the world.In 2006,China also proposed a strategy for building an innovative country.In order to achieve an innovative national strategy,China's machinery manufacturing industry is closely linked to production practice,introducing a large number of innovative technical talents to achieve high-quality development.Taking the graduates of mechanical education in secondary vocational schools as an example,the requirements of enterprises are not only satisfied with the transformation from technicians to technicians on the production line,but also require them to become designers and engineers with independent design and innovation capabilities.The Machinery Manufacturing Process Foundation course is a professional basic course for the study of mechanical manufacturing process and process methods for mechanical majors in secondary vocational schools.It can lay a theoretical foundation for students to follow the professional mechanical courses and solve practical problems.This paper investigates the teaching status of this course through questionnaires,literature research methods,interview methods,comparative analysis methods and other research methods.It is found that the current teaching results of this course are not ideal and can not cultivate students' innovative ability.Therefore,this paper explores and practices from the aspects of training objectives,teaching methods,teaching content,experimental teaching,second classroom,assessment design,etc,proposes a reform plan for the teaching model based on innovation ability training,and applies it in a secondary vocational school in Changchun City.This teaching model reform program will be applied for a one-semester application period,in order to analyze the implementation effect of the reform program,to explore whether it can improve the teaching level of the course and cultivate students' innovative ability.Through the analysis of the implementation effect of the reform mode of the teaching model based on the cultivation of innovation ability,it is concluded that this teaching mode can improve the existing teaching level to a certain extent,improve the innovation ability of the mechanical students of secondary vocational schools,promote the comprehensive development of students' quality,and enhance the employment competitiveness of students.At the same time,this paper also provides the basic ideas for the reform of the teaching mode of other courses of secondary vocational mechanical majors,and enriches the research on the innovative education teaching mode of secondary vocational schools.
