Research On Air Passenger Transport Development Strategy Of Haikou Meilan Airport

With the rapid development of economic construction in Hainan,the people’s material living standards have increased year by year,the spread of regional knowledge and culture in many directions,the increase in population flow rate at home and abroad,and the number of visitors to and out of Hainan Island increased year by year.Haikou Meilan International Airport,as one of the three major passenger airports in Hainan,has been an important way to travel to and from the island.It has also promoted the development of Hainan civil aviation industry and made a series of achievements.However,with the changes in the market environment,as well as the requirements of market competition,Haikou Meilan Airport passenger transport business development is also facing urgent problems to be solved.In this paper,we will take the Haikou Meilan Airport air passenger transport business as the research object.This article is to solve the practical problems that how to establish a clear enterprise development strategy to enhance its industry leading position and regional advantages.The first,this paper summarizes the air passenger transport development of China and the other countries,and points out the ideas,methods and research significance of the paper.Second,the internal and external environment of the development of air passenger transport in Haikou Meilan Airport was analyzed.Third,the SWOT model is used to analyze the opportunities and threats,advantages and disadvantages of Meilan Airport,and to determine the strategic objectives and options for the development of Haikou Meilan Airport.Finally,the implementation are put forward to realize the development strategy of Haikou Meilan Airport which is to better promote the development of Haikou Meilan Airport’s air passenger transport.At the same time,this paper has made great reference for improving the comprehensive competitiveness of other airlines and developing the regional air passenger transport,and also make a contribution to the development of Hainan International Tourism Island.
