Research On Social Integration Of Floating Population In Urban Center

The diversity of the social integration of the floating population is not only related to the socioeconomic characteristics of the floating population,but also related to space,and changes with the location of the floating population living space,in different levels of cities or in different areas of the same city.Therefore,the study of social integration for a particular residential space based on spatial perspective is particularly important.In the new period,along with the expansion and upgrading of the internal industrial structure of the city,a large number of migrants working in the tertiary industry have already lived in the communities in the central area of the city.The research incorporates this dynamic process into the research perspective.Starting from the spatial dimension,based on the floating population field survey data from the Xiangpuying community of central Nanjing City,the social integration of urban floating population is studied.The article begins with an overall understanding of the social attributes of floating population living space in urban centers,and then constructs the social integration structure of urban floating population.It summarizes the current status and characteristics of urban floating population social integration,and finally introduces on the basis of previous research data.The statistical method——binary Logistic regression model analyzes the factors affecting the social integration of floating population,and then summarizes the social integration mechanism of floating population in urban centers,and proposes targeted measures to improve the social integration of floating population in urban centers.To specifically and pertinently reflect the social integration status and characteristics of the floating population in a specific residential space,and further analyze the relationship between urban material space and the social space of floating population in order to understand the social integration of floating population in different social strata,groups,and spaces.The diversity will capture the characteristics of the floating population’s social space in the process of urbanization in China.The results show that:(1)Under the influence of changes in the urban center’s spatial location and the socio-economic characteristics of the floating population,heterogeneous mixed urban center floating population living spaces have emerged.(2)The social integration of floating population in urban centers consists of three dimensions: economic capacity,social adaptation,and psychological identity.Although floating population achieves a mixture with local residents in the physical space,both are still different in the social space within the living space.In terms of isolation and isolation,the social integration of floating population in urban centers presents new characteristics of “overall low and specific differences”.Among them,the level of integration of social adaptation and psychological identity is relatively high,and the level of economic integration is relatively low.(3)The social integration of floating population in urban centers is a complex process determined by individual factors,economic factors,and inflow factors.Among them,the factors of inflows related to institutional environment and social development of regional cities have the greatest impact on social integration.The influence of individual factors and economic factors is relatively low.The restructuring of the urban system environment and the state of social development associated with the change in the spatial location of living material is the leading factor in the inflow,and individual factors and economic factors are the auxiliary factors.The social integration of the floating population in the urban center presents “the overall low,"Specific differences" features.(4)To solve the dual social spatial structure between the floating population and the local residents in the mixed mode of the urban center area,and to improve the social integration of the floating population,it is necessary to start from the government,society,and individuals aspects.The three aspects form a joint force to comprehensively improve the urbanization process of the floating population.
