With the continues development of the shipping industry,the tug business as a necessary service for large ships to enter and leave the port plays an increasingly significant role,and the tug barge company also has an irreplaceable position in maritime transportation,as the business to mature,the war between enterprises is more and more fierce.However,the competition among enterprises is essentially the talents,only by attracting and retaining talents in the fierce competition environment can improve their competitiveness in the market.A good salary management system is the key to attracting and retaining talents,fair and reasonable labor remuneration can give full play to the incentive function of salary and improve the core competitiveness.This paper takes D tug barge company as the research object,firstly,the relevant literature of salary management is studied;Secondly,through field research,the existing salary management system of this company is deeply analyzed,finding that it has problems such as unfair salary system,unreasonable distribution of performance bonus and lack of pertinence of performance management;Finally,the salary management system is optimized with the salary management theory,different systems are designed according to the different nature of employees' work,that is,the salary management system based on the key performance index method for enterprise technical personnel,based on the 360 degree assessment method for enterprise management personnel,and based on the balanced score method for enterprise operation personnel,so that the salary system will vary from person to person and from post to post.In the end,effective suggestions on how to implement the new salary management system are put forward.Through the study,aiming to solve the D tug barge company existing problems of salary management system and improve status,give full play to the salary incentive,increase the enthusiasm and initiative of employees,attracting and retaining talents in a competitive market environment,to ensure its competitive advantage in the industry.
