Since entering the new era of modernization, urban land has been highly utilized and developed by mankind, forming an increasingly densely-structured complex, and urban green land has been severely constrained.Under such conditions, the aerial layer extends its green space with its unique spatial structure, buffering the influence of fast-paced urban life on people and becoming a link between urban space and residential space. At the same time, its ecological value, use value and commercial value have brought lucrative returns to developers, making it one of the selling points of real estate marketing promotion. However, the development of overhead layers is currently at a relatively new stage. As a special space that is different from purely indoor and outdoor space,it lacks relevant theoretical guidance in its early design and subsequent maintenance and is worthy of inquiry and thinking. This article consists of six chapters:Chapter1: Explains the research background, purpose and significance of this paper. It outlines the development status of research and development of airframes at home and abroad, defines relevant concepts, defines the research objects and content, and proposes research methods and frameworks for research.Chapter 2: Analyze the special space at the bottom of the residential area, analyze and study the nature, function, and factors that affect its design, and discuss the bottom of the residential area combining the actual cases of three different regions of Nanjing,Dongguan and Chongqing. The current status of the use of the floor and the problems that existed, and pointed out the necessity of designing the aerial floor at the bottom of the residential area.Chapters 3 and 4: The key chapters of this article, based on the theoretical basis of environmental psychology and environmental behavior, analyze the physiological, psychological, and behavioral characteristics of residents in the aerial layer.Based on this, the design principles of the aerial layer are proposed.Guiding strategy, combined with the project practice in the residential area of Vanke Estate in Nanchang,Jiangxi Province, puts forward specific design techniques for the aerial layer at the bottom of residential buildings, including specific design of traffic flow lines, space allocation, interface design, and design of small facilities, etc.Combining with practice, the feasibility of the design strategy of the aerial floor at the bottom of residential buildings is further demonstrated.Chapter 5: Summarize the content of this article, reflect on the deficiencies of this study, and further clarify the significance and value of this study.
