Tourist attractions have been a popular destination for our citizens to have a leisure entertainment or spend a short-term holiday.With the development of motorization and diversities of tourists’ means to travel,the existing transportation facilities of the tourist attractions are difficult to meet the increasing number of traffic demands.Parking lots in the tourist attractions,as an important supporting infrastructure,directly affect the transportation service capabilities of the scenic spots and the travel experience of tourists.Therefore,it is necessary to study the parking scale supply and parking management issues.This thesis firstly gives a quite complete introduction to the tourism transportation system and analyzes the "three-dimensional contradictions" presented in China’s tourist transportation,which has made a necessary preparation for forecasting demands of tourist attractions and the optimal parking scale configuration.Secondly,the Bass model was first applied to the tourist flow forecast in the tourist attractions.This thesis modifies parameters of the Bass model based on characteristics of the market diffusion of tourist attractions and considers the online word-of-mouth in the variables which affects the diffusion.What’s more,this thesis holds the idea that the largest market potential of the tourist attractions is changeable.This thesis applies the content analysis method to analyze the diffusion variables based on the modified Bass model for tourism market and draw results of the linear relations between the innovation coefficient and the marketing factor,the imitative coefficient and the word-of-mouth factor and then predicts the appropriate passenger flow of tourist attractions.In addition,tourism managers can dynamically manage the profitability of a scenic spot based on the tourism life-cycle location.Based on the forecast of parking demands,the optimal parking supply model in the scenic spot is emphatically studied in this thesis.According to the optimization theory and the idea that whether the site selection of the parking lot has been determined or not,the model is divided into the restricted one and unconstrained one.Based on the analysis of the connotation of the maximization of parking supply efficiency,the parking radius of service and the average annual investment cost are selected as the optimization objectives.By analyzing its function relationship with parking scale supply,this thesis establishes the objective function of the model and has its constraints though the actual conditions of the scenic spot.Moreover,a constraint-type optimal parking supply model and an unconstrained optimal parking system based on comprehensive benefit maximization are established respectively.Then,this thesis proposes a series of solutions and measures to problems that appear in the parking management in our country’s scenic spots after analyzing and discussing these problems existing in the tourist attractions.In doing so,it can give guidance to solve the parking management problems in the scenic spots in a macroscopic way and provides reference for improving the parking service standard.Finally,taking the Taibai Mountain Scenic Area as an example,this thesis applies the Bass model with improved parameters to study the passenger flow demand forecast,gives the optimal configuration on the parking provision scale in the Taibai Mountain Scenic Area based on the optimal parking supply model and provides suggestions for improving the parking management problems.
