Children's Museum Interactive Area Design Research And Practice

Children's museum is an educational site whose main audience is children.How to disseminate knowledge effectively is what many people study and practice,through which people summarize a series of design principle and method.Interactive area is where the audience recognize and interact,which indicates that the design of interactive form and space is the crucial part of children's museum's design.This topic discusses the necessity of children's museum interactive area designing by analyzing current situation of the audience,phased study features of children and interactive form through literature study.The thesis summarizes the defect in the design of Chinese children's museums' interactive area by comparing different examples through case analysis.Finally,the author designs “Tai Yuan Children's Museum” according to the conclusion and by utilizing empirical research method as an example to try to improve theme simplicity and insufficiency of education that received passively by children,which is a practical scheme.
